It sounds like he has some pretty severe mental health issues too tho. Ik he was “deemed fit to stand trial” or whatever, but I can’t help but feel a bit bad for the guy. Obv DV isn’t okay, but I wish the goal of the legal system was rehabilitation. I doubt he’s gonna get the help he needs in prison :’(

^^couldn’t agree more with these two comments. as an outsider looking in, america’s utter lack of care for enacting change in their prison system is so upsetting. but it makes sense when you realize that it’s a for-profit industry that abuses the loophole in the 13th amendment allowing for prison labour (which *_is_* a form of slavery btw) and american companies like walmart and mcdonalds looove using prison labour

this podcast is just hangin with kurtis for 45 minutes to an hour. i dont know how to say this in a way that doesn't sound sarcastic, but i promise it's not, i love that you leave in so much silence instead of trying way too hard to fill every split second with something entertaining. it just makes it more chill and keeps it from being overstimulating.

With cows, a lot of cattle farms use an animal safe chalk/paint for their dry cows, so that’s probably what he used on the proposal cow. The cow situation is so funny lol, but also in my animal science class we learned that spray paint on an animal like a cow or a sheep is just a marker for something like if they got dewormed. Say there's a blue mark on a sheep to show they are taken care of, and if there isn't one then it needs to be looked at and taken care of. Stuff like that. Also I'm taking a wild guess here but I think the cow is a gelbvieh (a German breed of cow) and if I'm remembering correctly they are used for dairy and/or meat.
