Great videos! down to earth and good visuals. I have a question about the kick pinion and if it is supposed to have constant contact with the tree when the motor is running. Mine 'ticks' against it when I turn the motor over. It's in my video chanel if you can look. Mike

Hi Mike. A bit of a weird one, assuming the shafts are fully seated the only thing allowing the pinion to contact anything is spring compression. Will the kickstart lever move in or out of the cases ? Were the kickstart rubbers new? I have heard of cheap ones being too tall so the quadrant is in the wrong position. Was the pinion spring new?
