EVAP leak on a Vespa, that's something new for me! In Italy we don't have Evaporative systems on scooters, it is not mandatory (for now).

Evap system are slow to be adapted in less responsible parts of the world. Lots of people remove them under the assumption they can get better performance, truth is they only purge at lower study throttle options in most applications. You remove a tiny amount of mass and matiance is really quite simple, with the evap system intact. The funniest emission delete that I seen through the years was with people removing the the positive crankcase ventilation system because they thought that was affecting their performance and gas mileage when in reality it was keeping the oil clean causing the engines to run a lot longer before needing a major overall.

Hello i have a vespa lx150 carb type... When it is center stand it works fine but when i ride it, it only maxes at 50kph & it feels that it has too much fuel & rpm goes down..

if you have overfilled your Vespa at some point, you should remove the evap system. It will make your scooter run better.
