VET CASE STUDY: Part 2/2. The owner's complaint of a right ear tumour in his dwarf hamster.
20 July 2023. The owner complains at Toa Payoh Vets that his 2-year-old dwarf hamster has a right ear tumour as told to her by Vet 1.
This video shows the vet and his assistant at Toa Payoh Vet examine the right ear visually and by palpation as well as using a fine cotton bud to probe the ear canal. They d not see any tumour. Both ears are irrigated with antibiotic and anti-inflammatory ear drops and cleaned.
The hamster goes home. No further complaint of right ear tumours.
