The Vetements "sexual fantasies" hoodie was over $600!! It's crazy. I discovered this brand through Korean street wear. Pretty sure I just got a knock off item lol. It's the Long sleeved over sized shirt with the calligraphy writing on the sleeve - it was only $15. But anyway, I loved all your points here and now I'm subbing

Even for designer prices their clothing is really really expensive, and some of their prints are really horrible. Seriously, why would I pay 500 bucks for a tshirt to say the name of a delivery company? They have a few cool pieces though, but you really have to search for them.

it might be a fad but the people behind it aren't rookies....Denma and the Vetements crew hail from Margiela, Louis Vuitton, and Celine....Lotta Volkova is a known stylist and his side goon Gosha ushered in his "new world order" look....That's why there was rise to this label was at the same time John Galliano brought his crew to Margiela and it was said that Denma was part of the crew that left at that time. The reason for the high prices is because they want scarcity of the products and now only want to produce in limited numbers...also it was rumored that Denma had a hand in designing Yeezy Season 1...

When i'm writing this comment, i'm not necessarily disagreeing with what you're saying, i just see it at another point of view. When you say that people should boycott the brand, for not having colored models, i'm just thinking to myself, is that really such a huge problem?, and when i say that, i'm not saying that they should not host colored models, but as far as i know Demna has not showed to be racist or oppressing to colored people, so i just see it as a minor detail that they only have white models. So i can't see the need to punish the brand for not having colored folk in their collections. But as i'm writing this comment i also know that Vetements has featured black people for instance on their Instagram.
