"Anybody can hop on this wheel and feel comfortable." I sold my Patton after less than 40 miles on 4-5 rides. I never felt comfortable: nervous, squirrely. Couldn't do tight low-speed turns I do on V11 all the time without the weight becoming scary/tippy (knobby tire maybe responsible). I swapped rides with a Sherman S owner. I was more comfortable on it within 10 seconds. I bought a Sherman S as soon as Patton sold. Returning to V11 while Sherman S is in transit, the hit to my riding confidence from riding the Patton so briefly hasn't fully recovered after another 40 miles. I learned on 16" V10F, upgraded to V11 where I did 2500 miles. Got Patton thinking the better suspension, more torque, bigger battery would tick all my boxes. Turns out what I really wanted was a more stable feeling wheel. My very first ride on Sherman S I was going faster than I've ever been on V11, but felt rock. solid. Now planning multi-day road rides with backpack, camping. Would recommend Patton to people who know they like "horseplay" more than chill carvey cruising. Glad I tried both. World of difference.

Small diameter, high weight, high center of gravity, knobby tire.. all those things don't make it the cadillac of euc's
@TaiLegend Жыл бұрын
I think you could have stuck it out a bit longer and acclimated. When I got my V13 upgrading from a V12 talk about night and day… almost double the weight, 16” --> 22” tire, scary at low speed turns feeling top heavy, and 100% accel and braking assist when I normally ride 100% pedal hardness from V12 was a HUGE shift. But guess what, fastest first 200+ miles that went by and with some agility training I got to throwing my weight around no problem and experienced the benefits outweighing the cons. Not diminishing your experience but I still think 40 miles is a bit early to decide imo. Glad you found something that works for you though in the Sherman S

@@TaiLegendI totally support this message. Accumulating mileage is needed to give a fair assessment. I believe that is why Inmotion requires riders to achieve specified mileage to unlock higher speeds. This is one of a few forms of transport that make this unique, because of the way the body and unit merge, in order to achieve the Zen affect.

why does the charger cycle back and forth when it's done, green for a second, red for a second, fan starting then stopping ? what's up with that. when I turned the charger off and started again then it was solid green. the sides by the shock are sharp, digs into your calf. i'm not crazy about the foot holder thing, I'd like to cut it off completely, riding without pads if you fly off forward it's going to hurt your ankle or shin. I got the street tire and ride on the road most of the time, it has instant acceleration and corners nice. if you pick it up and the wheel spins there's no way to reach the power button, how are you supposed to shut it down?

I'm 5'4", and I weigh 130 lbs. Right now, I have a 16x, and I damaged my controller the other day, trying to jump a curb with it. I think I'm just about ready for an upgrade. @@stanleyhyde8529 it’s not a wheel most people will learn on that’s for sure. I have a couple suggestions. Find a place with some poles/Columbus and mount using a pole. Your music selection is just awesome and I'm looking forward to tomorrow morning when I hopefully get on my master. Do you happen to have playlist on Spotify that you can share. 😁🙏
