I wouldn't trust a CEO who says he likes having the power to control other people/boss 'em around, just like I wouldn't trust a soldier in it for the power to control other people/boss 'em around But I'll trust a dude who is in it to make a positive impact, set a good example, learn, and grow -- no matter whether he's got an MOS or C-suite gig

9:41 Nikko! Bro, this actually happened to me once downrange in Sadr City while driving an MRAP! The TC side front tire just barely caught some stray wire near the gate to the JSS and that shit got wrapped all up in the front axle, inside the brakes and everything. It was a mess. Took me hours to cut it all out and cut up my hands pretty good, even through my gloves.

I spent a year and a half in Brigade S3 before being sent to a line unit. We went to train with live ammo, clearing rooms that same week. I went up to my team/squad leaders and said straight up "I haven't handled live ammo since basic. We never went shooting when I worked in brigade." Oh and did I forget to mention that I was also the new SAW gunner? Yea, no way I was clearing houses with a SAW without a refresher. We spent the next hour or so before our squad's scheduled time to run just drilling shit.
