Thank you Eevee's Team for another fun video! I am really looking forward to the Sherman-S ! (just the price is a bit tough for me) I've been waiting for the newer wheels with suspension to come out and prove reliable to purchase a long range wheel for my EUC line-up. The Sherman Max was on my radar but I feel the added suspension in the Sherman-S makes it the winner.

I see a lot of wobble which makes me think it doesn't feel as planted as the original Sherman. But that's to be expected, being a taller wheel, higher center of gravity, higher positioning of the pedals... Still, super excited about it. That trolley switch being a kill switch for the motor is a great idea! I hope they manage to implement it in the production units. You didn't mention anything about pedal dipping...
@lukastanasiuk5722

Almost 0 pedal dip! And the wobbles are just so common with the big tall bois. It was always manageable and went away as the ride continued.

Add my vote for a more sturdy metal trolley handle for the Sherman-S. One that snaps down securely, and doesn't flex or break at the joints when you pivot the Sherman-S when doing your shopping and errands, or walking it over technical ground. The design looks good, just thicker material/bracing, and strong connecting pins.

Coming from a v11 purchased last year as my first wheel, I think my money will be going towards the Sherman s. I've definitely gotten to the point where my skill level has outgrown the V11s output. I initially wanted to go v13 but given what little information is out currently for all the new wheels I think I want to go with the proven track record of reliability and build quality. Sure some of the other products coming will have better performance specs on paper. But, with the rediculous prices we are getting into, I think I'd rather sacrifice a bit of the "cutting edge" and put money towards build quality and something that looks and feels a bit premium for the price. Thank you for the information in this video. With the upgrade in performance I'll definitely have to upgrade protective equipment as well. Working to put together all the kit for the spring so if I'm chosen for the helmet that would definitely be a plus. Thanks for all you guys do.

Thank you so much for an amazing video with full transparency!❤️I am definitely most excited for the Sherman-s. The reason why I am most excited about it is because for the reliability of my current Sherman max that has 3,200miles on it since March!!! I have 4 wheels and it's truly the one that I ride most frequently with the most miles on it because of the reliability and no hiccups in my ownership so far! I am super excited about the futuristic look of the Sherman-s. I am super excited for the hydraulic suspension and the ability to have a low maintenance yet reliable long range suspension wheel! 🙏🙂❤️

@A K EUC it's the OG Sherman. I don't think it will have less speed or range. The OG Sherman has a 3200wh battery. I also have a Master. When I crave top speed that's the wheel for that. If the Sherman S can cruise 40 mph . That's fast enough.

@A K EUC I love the V3 Sherman it really is a great wheel. It's so stable at speed . It plows through pot holes . If the Sherman S matches that with the suspension then I would swap! I think suspension is a game changer and no need for wheels without it going forward.

My biggest issue with paying 4k for a 100v wheel is the overhead. On a 134v wheel like the v13 I have massive headroom when cruising at 45mph, but on something like the Sherman S I'm maxing the wheel out the whole time.

I'm excited about the Sherman S. Currently, ride OG Sherman with pre-order on V13. After the last round of new suspension wheels and their issues, I'm not too confident with any of the new 134V/126V wheels and type of suspension selections. The Sherman 100V system has been proven reliable and still relevant. I think LeaperKim did a smart move, partnering a reliable system with a real suspension company to perfect an EUC suspension. This looks like the undeniable next generation of EUC suspension. (note: Jehovah Witness don't celebrate Christmas)

Surprised you guys aren't going to get the EX30. What's special about this new wheel is a 4500-watt motor and bigger magnets (C40). It's like when the first C38 motor became available. You should reconsider. Nice "S" video. I'm sure it'll be a winner. It has a "mini-hollow bore motor" like the Max. Substantial improvement over the Sherman and it has thicker phase wires because of it. I think you're wrong regards 100-volt vs 134-volts, but that's just my opinion 🙂 As a dealer I understand your perspective. Tell Veteran they need to up their game regarding pedals. Follow Begode's lead. The KingSong and Veteran pedals are inferior by 2022 standards.

Sherman S is the one for me. I’ll be ordering it from you very shortly. Although some of the other wheels may be faster and maybe torquier. The Shermax has been rock solid for me and I believe Leaperkim made the right call by perfecting an already great wheel segment rather than to try and leapfrog everyone on « numbers » that don’t necessarily equate to a better wheel. Begode is all over the place and seems to be rushing out wheels. Inmotion is on the right track with the v13 but I fear they are trying to revolutionize too many things at once (lots can go wrong).I find the Sherman S is the perfect evolution of industrial design, a proper balance of performance, range, size, weight and without attempting to overreach and being ungodly heavy. A Sherman Max with suspension is what I have been dreaming of and it’s finally here. TAKE MY MONEY!!! 😂

@@EUC_Quebec I mean even 50 is a lot. I used to have V12 which was around 30 kg. I started having knee pain from carrying it. Now I have the V11 which is just three kg less and the weight is alright to carry with a single hand up stairs. 50 would just suck big time and basically it wouldn't be feasible to use it if you don't have an elevator in an apartment building (which is mostly the case around where I live).

My T4 is my first EUC, but unfortunately it came with a defective motor and I didn’t even put a mile on it. Sent it back for repairs. Meanwhile my friend let me borrow his Sherman and it’s not a beginner friendly EUC imo. I’ve dropped it 6 times the first few days being on it because of the weight and rider error, but it has held up nicely. Long story short after riding and practicing on it for 6 days and learning how to currently carve on it, I have to say I’m starting to love it as I get use to it even more. I believe the S will be my end game.

I would be most excited about the Bigode ex-30, if Veteran or Inmotion built it, because I like the specs with the c 40 motor, 36,000 wr battery pack, 20" tire, torque, speed etc...however, I'm not gonna spend upwards of 4 plus grand for plastic battery cases, sub par waterproofing and exposed wires to the control board like the Master! lol... With that said, I am leaning towards the Inmotion V-13 Challenger. This is what I like... . Inmotion has always been about quality even though they had issues here and there, but were always willing to make adjustments. This is what matters the most. For example... The v-11 had bearing issues for the first two batches, when I received the 3rd batch v-11 two years ago, problem had been resolved. . Then Inmotion came out with the best performing 16" wheel but, unfortunately had control board issues they eventually worked out. The high speed version had soft rim issues they did however fix when the high torque came out. . If you follow the trajectory of Inmotion, this is what you see. 1 High quality and steadily increasing in performance. 2 Now, truly competitive in the performance market after creating the top performing 16" wheel. (v-12) 3 willing to make corrections for customers with each innovation and having a high tech factory assembly line. Now you come to the Challenger. The best of all Inmotion wheels combined! . This is what I see in the v-13 Challenger..... 1 Easy tire swap experience compared to the v-11 and v-12 2 Strongest rim on the market. 3 Motorcycle grade wires and connectors. Much thicker to handle all the amps. 4 Rapture motherboard with 40 plus mosfets to prevent overheating and providing the coolest riding temperatures. 5 Ability to monitor each battery cell for balanced charging equals...extended battery life. 6 Control board communication to the factory in order to monitor anything that goes wrong so to rapidly fix issues. 7 Redundant Hall sensor system 8 Most powerful and highest quality 4,500 watt, Segway brand motor. 9 Fastest Motor reaching a 10,000 watt power peak. I believe this will enable Challenger to actually cruise at 55 mpr.! 10 Fully waterproofed. Highest rating on the market. 11 Removable, gas power suspension. Electronically adjustable with double the hydraulics of the v11. 12 Adjustable, up down, in out spiked pedals. 13 High torque plus high speed, 22" wheel that can handle any terrain / steep inclines with lots of power! 14 Grab rails for wheel protection and fast stops 15 Looks like good, factory, power pad set up. 16 Narrow wheel making it very nimble. My v-11 is tall and narrow allowing me to take sharp corners really fast. 17 Inmotion always makes some of the best headlights and tail lights. My v-11 headlight is still one of the best. 18 124 volts and can fully charge in as little as 3 hours. 19 Built like a tank! 20 cool colors. (early bird pricing if still available) My only complaints about the Challenger so far.... 1 I wish it was a slightly smaller wheel with all the same specs. I would prefer 18" - 20". 2 For the price, the v-13 has the smallest battery pack at only 3,024 watt hours. For the same price range, everyone else is 3,600 watt hours and higher. Bigode Master Pro is 4,800 watt hours!!! I just don't trust Bigode quality especially at 4 - 5 grand. I feel like Inmotion should, at the very least, put in a 3,600 watt hour battery pack.

There is too much of a conflict of interest calling your videos “reviews.” I believe that you will state your true beliefs and opinions about a wheel on the channel. Y’all good people. But those opinions are heavily influenced by your primary occupation of running the eevees store and the financial windfall of that business. I think you need to STOP calling these videos reviews. They are impressions, they are showcases. But a true review need to be as independent as possible from actual manufacturers and distributors. I love your work and I love your videos. I really value YOUR perspective in my wheel research. Please call them impressions and showcases, not reviews.

I really you writing this comment, both your kind words and your concerns. To be honest, at the risk of sounding pedantic... the definition of 'review' in the Oxford dictionary is: "examine or assess (something) formally with the possibility or intention of instituting change if necessary." Honestly, now at the risk of sounding arrogant lol, I would say we fit that definition better than most reviewers on YT, considering we have a very substantial influence on these manufacturers to 'institute change if necessary' on all the devices we review. We will be thoroughly examining the wheel in our teardown video and thoroughly assessing it in our stress test video. We might not be the most formal guys, but every other part of the literal definition is pretty well embodied by what we try our best to do. Do you think that's a fair rebuttal?

It’s a fair rebuttal, but mostly for you and your team, not for the community. I believe you hold yourselves to the standards you outline. But it is clear by your remarks in the video that the community does not share my perception. There are people who question your integrity, and enough of them that you felt the need to address it. A core tenet of their skepticism is your dual role as “reviewer” and seller. This is the problem with conflicts of interest. Unless ALL PARTIES, manufacturer, seller, reviewer, and consumer, fully trust one another, you can never rule out a conflict of interest. Thus to the uneducated consumer, your financial relationship with (example) Sherman/Leaperkim is a conflict of interest that could, intentionally or unintentionally, color your assessment of the product. I’m not saying that calling your content a showcase or impression removed this conflict of interest, but it places that conflict of interest in front of the skeptical viewer honestly and openly, which the skeptic might find more palatable. This is a well established practice in the tech journalism industry. @SnazzyLabs does a great example of this. Vacuum sponsors his video, he uses the vacuum every day, talks about it honestly including the products faults, and he calls it a showcase. Linus Media Group do a very similar style on Linus Tech Tips and Short Circuit. I recommend you a watch a few of their videos. Calling it a showcase doesn’t degrade the quality of the content, or the validity of your opinion. It just frames it more precisely. I’m not questioning your integrity. You are leading the industry not only as a distributor, but also as content creators. But I believe that a minor change in language might clear up some things with the skeptical members of community. Those who trust you will continue to do so.

@@philamonhemstreet8632 I really appreciate you taking the time to elaborate on this. My only remaining quarrel with this, is under that pretence of conflict of interest... shouldn't every 'reviewer' who has a promo code where they get a cut of sales be held to the same definitions? If so, pretty much every single notable reviewer in the PEV industry would be 'showcasing' wheels. Obviously we are even more incentivized than they are, but where is that line delineated? We do this for the community, so if the overwhelming consensus was to indeed change the nomenclature to 'showcase' or another less triggering synonym than review.... I think we'd be open to it! I'd say still, the vast majority of our followers/watchers don't mind or even notice the choice of using 'review' over other words... but at the same time I don't want to discredit the well-intention, methodically outlined critiques from our beloved followers/customers (like you!). Definitely food for thought. Thanks again for taking the time to write this all out.

@@lukastanasiuk5722 it’s a complex subject. But I think we can both agree that there is a huge difference between an affiliate link to a distributor, and BEING the distributor. If that difference is significant enough to change anyone’s behavior is a matter of debate. Thanks for the open ears!

Wanting to get my first wheel soon, I'm super excited for the inmotion v13 challenger, but I don't think there is much out on that wheel yet, the stability and climatization you have talked about on the sherman s is very appealing, and I've also really wanted the S22. It just looks so nice! But Even the lower maintenence on the Sherman s is still seeming a bit more appealing to me! Super excited and can't wait to purchase my first wheel! I was excited for the V13, now I'm moving my preorder to the sherman s. It looks like the perfect V11 upgrade for me. reasons are that the v13: heavier by 6kg smaller battery heavy motor will make its nimbleness suck. I have a lot of mixed path types which is better suited for the sherman s. I really enjoy cornering and carving, your reviewreally highlighted that aspect. The v13 videos have been terrible to show off the wheel. Nobby tyre on the v13 and difficulty sourcing a street... really inmotion? the consensus seems to be the weight of the v13 is high 4x air suspension, i dont want that maintenance. Still no review units out, very suspicious I wanted the idea of a 22" wheel but 20" really seams to be the sweet spot. I'm excited for the tech in the V13. Its just in a package i don't want when compared to sherman s. Sherman S, lets go!

Great Video! Love the Sherman S specially the engineering part of it. It looks so unbelievable beautiful! But mister excited I am about the T4. So you're wondering why? Because of it's package! I rode it in Bangkok just for 2 minutes, but... ... it's nimble, it's 'liftable' it has an adequate top speed and I do love the suspension. It's the 'not to heavy but delivers enough power and performance' in one package 📦. Thank you for the in depth first impression video!

Im interested in the Sherman S, no contest. From what I gathered from Bradley comments on Facebook: 70kmh at 60% battery (which is my top speed on my Max, bought from you guys) with no beeps. Add to that planted riding, reliability, stellar suspension and overall build quality that you spoke about is what I aspire to. Yes, others wheels will be faster, but if I get everything stated above with says, 80-85% of the Master's speed, 2 or 3 solid notches above in build qualit AND more range with a bigger battery? If it was available right at this moment, id sell my Max and drop the cash right there, without blinking. I'm that convinced.

I'm the most excited about the Sherman S I think because of the suspension design. It resembles a front MTB fork, which gives me more confidence in the tech behind it. I have a MTB background, and I know what a good DH fork can do, usually the right fork is a lot more important than the shock choice in my opinion. Plus the simplicity seems key there!

My first real unicycle!(first one was a cheap plastic one as a kid kzbin.infoUgkx4e2fa6x27dF7shCelntq0ZIKt4N0jELI I never learned to ride)So, this is a true learner, and for a C note, exactly what was needed. After a few weeks, I'm able to easily ride up and down the street. The Good: Solid frame. Has absorbed numerous spills through learning and still solid. Look - great looks, after 6 weeks of bashing Weight - it's really all tire, but as I fall I can easily grab the seat so it doesn't slam the ground. Size - Very adjustable. I'm 6', 33" inseam. I put it mostly up, but could go a bit higher if I needed to. The Bad: Not sure if it's out of the norm, but seat got scraped up quickly. Pedals - they are a bit uncomfortable and I can't get the right feel on my feet. But, they are solid and haven't been damaged at all as I've seen in reviews on other cycle's.- To address one comment about the seat connection not straight. Huh? Seat is on a round pole, you just turn it and it's straight. Either of the bad I expected to replace once I improved. I'd recommend to anyone else in the learning phase.

I wonder why they didnt try to get more motor power than just +200W. The Sherman max has 3600wh battery and a 2800w motor. The S has the same battery with only a small 200w increase in motor power to a 3000w motor. Even the Abrams has a 3500w motor.....and the abrams is on sale for like $2600 (canadian i think) on eevvees, while the sherman S is $4000first batch preorder and $4500 after the preorder. Almost a $2000 difference and it has less power than the abrams, and only 200w more power than the sherman Max. The sherman S seems like it would be the END ALL BE ALL! If! it had some motor power thats atleast competitive to the wheels of 2022. Even the V12 has 2800w motor power. I feel like thats the single miss of this wheel. So maybe the Veteran Sherman SS? Lol the "SUPER SPORT" 😎

For a 100lb 3600wh suspension wheel, I'd want to know: + Shake the wheel in every practical way and find any loose or sloppy parts of the suspension. + Ride through dirt and mud and then inspect the suspension to see what got dirty and if it's easy to access and clean out. + Suspension ride quality: how high of a curb drop does it take to reach the bump stops with a straight-leg rider? Does its motion feel sticky? Does its motion feel bouncy? Plus all the standard considerations: + Pull force (measure it!) - tells us if the acceleration limit is higher or lower than existing wheels like Sherman 18650 (weak) or Master (strong). + Riding ergonomics: how wide is the upper shell, relative to other EUC's? Where does your leg make contact? Are there any sharp or uncomfortable points of contact? + Firmware: how easy does it feel to accelerate from 0-20mph, without aftermarket powerpads, relative to other EUC's? Is there pedal sink when performing a U-turn? + What is the location and dimension of the narrowest clearance between tire and body/fender? (Helps us understand if our fun aftermarket tires will fit.) + Physical handling: is it ergonomic to lift into the trunk of a car? Is the kickstand stable? What's the best way to carry it up stairs? + Is the trolly suited for both pushing and pulling? (Think: entering and exiting a small elevator without turning around.) + Is pedal angle (dihedral) physically adjustable? + Is pitch angle adjustable in software? (Inmo even had separate adjustments for braking vs accelerating...) + Is the roll angle shutoff adjustable in software? + What is the maximum recharging current? Does it permit riding while recharging (for the backpack battery lovers)? Thx

Thanks for your first impressions and opinion. One suggestion for improving for Leaperkim: Ditch that actual backlight and add a simple one with one big and bright red light, which gets even brighter when braking. That is all what is needed foa a quality non nonsens wheel. One question for me/the community: How is the pedal dip behaviour? Is it as stable as a kingsong now or still flawed when sharp turning? If this dipping is a form of a Leaperkim Brand thing then please do give us a setting to switch off this behaviour. Customisation in general of the wheel behaviour to make it "own" would be much appreviated. Other than that. Thank you very much for making a qualitiy wheel.

But Onewheels have wider tires, they are much lower, lighter, and slower. They don't really fall or crash. However, it they ghost and crash into something, they can still suffer expensive damage. If eucs can be built like tanks and still not become overly expensive or heavy, maybe it's good. Otherwise, why not make some parts modular and sacrificial but easy to buy and replace.
