That mount is really flimsy. Feels like a light breeze could knock it over

It's about the same as my old Craftsman lights. The tripod feet would keep it from easily tipping over unless the cord is pulled somehow.

We use the Makita DML809 10,000 lumen jobsite light, mainly because it is both wall and battery powered, and brings the lumens. We primarily work in disaster situations where breakers need to get shut off and nobody is going to wait for an electrician to start. The Milwaukees are good, but you are right about needing more. Especially in situations where you need to clean. I could see getting these for more permanent or long term jobsites.

About 10 years ago I was in the market for some new hiking shoes so I asked a friend of mine who's a ski boot fitter if there were any brands he'd recommend. I listed a few brands I liked the look of and his replay was: Buy from a company that makes shoes (meaning a shoe company, not NorthFace etc). I've pretty much applied that to every big purchase I've made since. Milwaukee make power tools, Vevor make lights.

You a very ignorant to think that Vevor only makes lights . They make shoddy versions of damn near everything. From car parts to plumbing.

The lighting produced seems great but the stands and the mounts look too flimsy. This was why I had gotten away from plug in halogen then plug in flourescent and migrated to Milwaukee.

Its not always the name of the brand that you are buying. I have Milwaukee and Dewalt lighting for the longevity and durability. I'm not sold on the quality of this product.

I have a 10L Vevor Ultra Sonic cleaner I have had for 3 years. Loved ever moment of having it. Turns out you don’t need items from big names that make them over seas. The small names that make the products for the big names do just as good on their own.

I wont give Vevor a dime of my money after having a strut compressor blow up in my face, not a pair of the cheap autozone rental ones, one of the big ground ones. They're the cheapest of the Chinese.

Dude I also have had a terrible experience with Vevor too. Terrible customer service. Their vendor reps barely speak English. And when stuff goes wrong they play dumb. Stay away from Vevor.

4000k is my fav. 5000k never looks like daylight. As a photographer the 5000k is harsh in these shop lights anyway

Absolutely correct. The 4k is much more like daylight. 5k is more like a hospital surgery room. The crispness of 5k is often why we use artificial lighting outdoors for mechanical jobs.

Brother, you should do a runtime test with your largest M 18 battery plugged into your little Milwaukee inverter, if it gets you two hours away from that stand that be awesome and heck, you could travel with just the short handle portion of those lights! 🤔🤔

I can only run one light at a time, but could probably get 1.5+ hr out of any 12Ah M18. Maybe more.
