This has to be my favorite song. I've listened to your music since you just realized Happiness, but then this song captured me. It was just a joy to listen to. Calm, musical, upbeat, it had its parts where I felt like I was in yesterday's shadow. I live life like yesterday everyday. There has been a few significant changes since birth, like family dying, getting a girlfriend, etc, but nothing has changed. Everyday, for the time I've been alive has been a routine. I get up, get dressed, eat breakfast, leave for work or school, work all day, get home, rest for half an hour, go to workouts, come home, do last minute things before bed, go to bed, repeat. It has all been the same for far too long. i need to do something other than wither my life away. This song may be a year old already, but it's worth listening to for the reminder to not waste away the time given to us by God.

I think that there is a backstory with this song. Somebody plays a cd/cassette while its raining outside. He looks at his recordings from yesterday when it was sunny. You can hear the kids being outside and having fun, playing games. It was a happy day yesterday so it plays happy music. At the beginning its not that happy. And the song ends with the cd/cassette ending with the music fading away... But thats just what i think. Its only my imagination...

It's almost like what we went through yesterday is happening all over again and we can't escape this never ending cycle. That's why its important to remember that we control our own lives. You know what, i agree i have been living the same day on repeat. Going to school,coming home ignoring responsibility's and playing video games, this song really helps put that in perspective.
