That'd be cool, but I think Aklo depends on the Marths not knowing the matchup, and also not having playforms for marth to move around on is nice for Link. Kind of the reason he typically waits for the fd stage pick Although his link is sooo good, I definitely still wouldn't have been mad if he did go link the whole set 😭😭

Just imagine if vanilla Melee tournaments were swapped out for Beyond Melee. We could actually see a nice variety of characters at major tournaments, like we already see in P+. Nintendo would lose their shit though. Just had a P+ side event cancelled in my community cuz a couple reps from Nintendo were going to be there.

the bombs don't normally bounce back directly the way they came, usually they would bounce straight up off shield. so zain is a powershield god

@@20102010b aklo SD'd at 162% while Zain was at 30. Aklo could've possibly played out of his mind and evened it out, but that's not very likely. Just look at the last stock: Zain took like 4 stray hits for a total of 14% and in return did over 80 damage. It's cool that Aklo pulled out the Link, and it did do better than the Fox, but if getting 2 stocked is what it means for a mid tier to pop off, I'd hate to see one getting destroyed

@@urallnoobs8943 You do realize Zain is a MUCH better player than Aklo, yes? I've seen Aklo fuck up space animal mains that are on the same level as him, and those are Link's worst MUs other than Sheik. On FD, Link is actually decent against Marth; it's maybe 40:60.

@@urallnoobs8943 Have to agree with the other guy here, Zain actually seemed to know the matchup pretty well and countered a lot of what Link was trying to do, but got caught up in the relentless bomb pressure Aklo was pulling out. Aklo probably should have stopped as Zain adjusted and punished him for it, but there was still potential for Aklo to win here.
