Does anyone else feel like zain was #1 last year even with the firet to ten? Look at what zain has done so far this year compared to cody

They each had a case for #1, hence the ft10. Keep in mind that a month ago Cody went sicko mode and gave the Smash community clinical depression and threw them into a fit for a month over z jump. Both look untouchable a scary amount of time.

@@traycarrot I under why they did the first to ten but I don't think that is a good metric to determine who the best player for a year was, I understand that they were essentially forced into it. But I watched every major last year and zain looked much more consistent and dominant in his play

@@traycarrot I think Cody has a higher peak than zain but he isn't always playing at the level and idk how sustainable that is in a tournament setting in general

They thought nobody else had a realistic chance of being #1, so this was their agreed way of settling it.

I don't understand the yoshistory counterpick for marth, seems kinda counter productive, Marth can cover 30% of the stage at a time or more, and getting stuck on a platform is a nightmare lmao -might as well pick fd while you're at it

Mango once said that Marth weakness is aggression, being in such a small stage helps with that. The thing is, most Marths aren't as insanely fast as Zain.
