At this point Johnny felt it was his right to sing all of Ronnie's songs just as badly as he wanted to. It's pretty clear that Johnny is just singing words and his mind is elsewhere. This is just a gig for him. He's wasn't connected then to what Ronnie felt when he wrote those songs. Ronnie sang about being arrested and running afoul of the law. Johnny sings song lyrics he found on the internet without feeling anything but the glare of the sun and the heat. I'm surprised he wasn't chewing gun? And usually Johnny had to wear skinny jeans. Ronnie would have rather died than to wear skinny jeans.

Ronnie became somebody when he wrote his own song lyrics. Johnny is a nobody because he's never been a creator of anything other than very mediocre songs.

couldn’t have said it better myself, there definitely is and has been a lack of emotion in this band since the tribute tour. atleast Leon is back there playing.
