In my mind, Bad Omens has already proven they can do heavy. They wanted to try something new and experimental and I'm all for it. Bands making the same music every album is never all that interesting to me. Also Noah's vocals have evolved so much it's wild.

Not really though. Their first two albums were seriously mediocre for heavy albums. I don't think they did heavy well at all, at least not in a way that stood out at all. This new sound for me is even worse, though. I genuinely can't stand this album.

@@scottthebot2779 In my opinion nothing. But a lot of people bought Putin's ideia about Ukraine being a place of neo-nazis (so what he's actually doing is "liberating" ukranians), many people says that US (through NATO and its politics of expansion towards the east in the last few decades) is the true responsible for this war. Some say that Ukrainans were murdering russian citizens living in Luhansk and Donestk region. And many are just anti-US. However, the true purpose of this invasion is very clear. Putin doesnt wan't one more NATO member in its borders, he's trying to overthrow the current government and establish a non democratic pro-russian puppet in the place.

I found it very surprising that despite it being so pop influenced it still remained very interesting and simply fun to me. I do, however agree there’s a bit little balance between more simple tracks and ones like The death of peace of mind, but overall it’s a masterpiece of an album to me. Also wanted to let you know I’m absolutely devastated about what Putin has done and still is doing just outside of my border… I live in Poland and I won’t refuse to help any Ukrainian.
