Channel focusing on modding are rare and Victoria 2 is an old game so creating modding videos on it will bring you even less views than gameplay videos. Luckily I am stupid enough to do this just because I just want to and not because I am expecting it to generate millions of view for the channel ;)

Hey dude... I have a question... I wanted go far away and I build an entire island, its a huge mass of land with just one sea province to acces... like Hawai, but bigger... my question its... do I have to edit more files from the folder where the map is located? I mean, edit the files where its the geografy and stuff like that... trees and rivers and that kind of crap... I created the country and draw all the provinces and they are already form part of a several regions, even the POPs and resources are settled... but the game doesn't run correctly and the "error" its labeled to the folder where de map its placed.

Thank you very much from kor!! I play Vic2 with HPM that i've changed some provinces But now I have problems with technology and the military tab The first case is that After 1860.1.1 if I click tech tab then game gets crushed, even using F3 key is the same. The second case is similar to the first one. Whenever I try to gather soldiers in the military tab game gets crushed too. I guess both cases have a same reason but I have no idea what is problem. Can you give me any advice??

Maybe some files got damaged during the process, try to start over and see if it keeps crashing

Hi thanks for this video, i since a long time create many country to make victoria 2 world with country of today, but many of my african country can't have any soldier do you know what file i need to change ? i need to have both soldier creation (regular army) and the soldier we have when we mobilize people i actually succed to create soldier with the file history > unit > Moz_oob (for Mozambique for exemple) but that just give soldier at the start of the game and if they die i cant create anymore because all my two limits are in 0 thanks for you advice

Is it possible to change the geography of the world, like adding a land were normally there is sea and similar. Basically terraforming Or the world shape is hard-coded and it's impossible to change?

You can, but changing sea provinces is more complicated

Maybe the country you want has another three letters (Spain=SPA), some of them are very similar an example could be Colombia and Columbia (Colombia=CLM Columbia=COL)

@@milusky I already solved it, it was the same country it belonged to, but, the different name of the province file, made it overlap the one of the base game before the one of the mod, and for that reason it became part of the incorrect country

To the lron work where do i find sokoto pops history and how I make uncolonized land colonized

\history\pops\bookmark folder\ Edit the pops in the relevant state file. To make uncolonized land colonized just assign to it an owner and controller.

Mr. Workshop, I'm having some issues with the map. Every time I start Victoria 2 with the mod turned on, it crashes on the loading screen. Specifically on the "loading rivers" section. How do I fix this? I did not add any additional provinces and only morphed existing provinces into the shape I needed them to be.

Don't know if you solved it yet, but it's probably because you accidentally put pixels on sea provinces.
