Lost my dad a couple months ago, we used to sit together and watch VGG all the way from across the world in Australia. My dad couldn’t believe the amount of old cars sitting around over in the US, just waiting to be revived by Derek. He loved every episode and wished he had his health back to revive some old cars himself.

Derek, your "on air" treatment of the part supplier is commendable. "They let me come to their main warehouse." Getting it wrong once, people make mistakes. The same mistake twice is a bad process. Customers earn better service. Gorgeous build.

My parts supplier in the commercial plumbing trade after 2 major mistakes sends things out red ball express courier. 2 hours away with the amount of parts he gets from them I am surprised the warehouse manager himself didn't drive them over. Holley can do better

I've watched your videos through hard times, layoffs, cancer in the family. always helps me escape. Been searching for 3 years for affordable muscle car. every time I see this car I'm loving it. I'll share a statistic that really caused me to refocus some of my time. 95% of all the time you'll ever spend with your kids will be done by the time they turn 18, 75% of it by the time they're 12. Cool fact about yenko wheels my grandfather was a machinist back in the day and Don yenko would send the factory steel wheels to him to have them made wider and that's how my dad met my mom because my dad was a mechanic at the yenko dealership in Mechanicsburg PA and he brought him some wheels and met my mom there

WOW! That was my first car! 1968 Chevy II Nova 2 door with a straight 6, Green color and all! Wish I still had it but it needed a complete overhaul from motor to chassis. steering box was shot and had a good 3 inch play in the steering when hitting a bump. Oh the good old days! lol

Definitely one bad little 68 nova and yess those wheels make it look so much better just matches the car and having a 4-speed manual with a screaming 6.0 with 350 HP's under the hood makes it even better . Man what a car , I sure wish I could find my mom's 74 Nova that got stolen back in the 90s and try to get the car back , I even have the title and everything still for the car

Yes, factory steelies and dog dishes! That's all I run on my sleepers. I'm not much of a "rim" guy, with mags and all, but I like old-school Cragar SS's, that's about it. Of course, it depends on the car. On the 100 scale, I do 90 on steelies and dog dishes, 10 on Cragars.

I absolutely love the Nova. The color is gorgeous especially because you don't see that color everywhere. And the wheels look fantastic on it. I had a 71 Nova once. Hey Derek, I could be wrong on that alternator, but I’m pretty sure you can clock those however you want. Just take the housing screws out and turn it where you want. Worth a peep.
