I hope that young Bradley knows how fortunate he is to have a Dad who is patient, kind, generous and good humoured - and willing to teach him the basics of life and of being a mechanic. No matter where he heads in life, all of these lessons will stand him in good stead. He will look like Joe-Cool rumbling into the high school parking lot in that very snazzy F250....

This hits me really hard. You're a good dad and role model. The way you talk about teaching him to drive and showing him how to be self-sufficient, independent, and responsible. My dad did all that with me and I remember learning to drive in a truck like this. My parents had a silver 1967 F-100 Ranger with a 352 and a three speed column shift. I remember sitting in the middle with my legs on each side of the under-dash A/C unit and my dad would let me steer. Then I would mimic his movements when he clutched and shifted. When I got my shot at driving it was a huge bench seat, a giant steering wheel, pedals that took all I had to reach the floor. It was a busy and dizzying experience but here I am at 50 years old and I remember my dad teaching me to drive his truck on dirt roads around the age of 10. I lost my dad in 2004 and all I have is memories. This video really hit me in the feels because I see you and Brad living those very same memories I made with my dad.

Im 48 and my dad had a 68 Ford/3 on the tree/ 300-6. It later got a new frame. As in a 72 3/4 ton 4wd with a 6inch chassis, 3inch body lift and 17/40/15 Monster Mudders. 360/4brrl/ granny low 4spd. The 70s and 80s rocked!!! Lots of fabrication, welding, he even made his own driveshafts. I wish I had paid more damn attention.

My first drives were with my own Dad, in a rusted old blue 1980 Suburban, with an extra pair of return springs on the carb so that pedal always jumped back to idle (and took the force of God to press). This video, and your story, takes me back to that. I'm thankful he's still around and kicking (we spent today dropping some trees and doing more work on my Grand Prix). My codelensces on your loss.

I grew up in the 60's with Fords, mostly 6 cylinders, my dad said they were the easiest thing to learn and to work on. You only need a screwing driver, some bubble gum and a hair pin 9000 to fix anything that breaks...I don't know. Great to see a young guy use his hands on something other than a cell phone-a-later!! It's really good to see that your son is involved in some of these videos you do. It's the real world stuff that isn't taught in school. Good job to you and your wife. And Brad, keep up the good work, you'll be building hot rods in no time.🤘

Love this video.. Bradley is really lucky his dad works on old cars with him. My dad helps me loosen a bolt once... That was it... I called it in the previous video, you guys worked in the fuel system.. Nice to see the old gal idle-ating & drivealating of her own tank.... 👍👌.. 😍 Dat old truck.. Sort the brakes, Clear caot her and buff the clear coat.. Put a new floor in the bed & a new clutch.. Then she's a solid go 2 town truck..

Hey man, you're Simplisafe pitch really hit me hard. 2 reasons. The first reason is I bought the Simplisafe for the apartment we are currently living in and it's super easy to install. The second reason is the part about the flames shooting out of your roof bit. My house burnt down 3 weeks ago. My family got out ok. The house and both vehicles were declared total losses and the cause was undetermined. My fire started in the garage, where there weren't any smoke alarms. We were woken to the sound of fireworks (4th of July leftovers) in the garage. I might still have my stuff if there was a smoke detector in there. There will be one when we rebuild that's for sure.

Damn! This was so good to see! A young man interested in working on an old truck while getting his hands dirty and not wrapped up in a phone or video game all while being mentored and guided by his dad. Keep up the good work and lets see some more of this! The world needs it because its gone bananas out there!

This video takes me back to when I was a little guy like Bradley. That's my name also but I wanted to be called Brad...Bradley was what I got called when I was in trouble[grin]....My grandparents lived next door and him and I were always trying to keep lawn mowers and his old clunkers running back in the mid 60's. I drove his 54 chevy wagon around the block when I was 6 years old .He was quite a guy, he bought a brand new Mustang in 1965 for Grandma. But we would ride around town in that old wagon and I would watch grandpa shift that old 3 on the tree. He was funny , if he saw me watching he would give it the gas and try to shift into second without the clutch. He would actually get it into second sometimes if he got the revs just right . I was always the happiest if we were working on something... I knew where all the tools and wrenches were so I was the gopher.

The memories you are making with your son working on old junk like this will last a lifetime. I remember when I was 10 or 11 my father teaching me what a firing order was and how to clean points and do basic wiring, replacing parts and figuring out why something wouldn't run. He's the reason why I got into wrenching on old stuff, and the fact that you're doing the same for your sun makes me respect you even more

Bradley is a chip off the old block. It's great that you guys are doing this together. I learned to drive on a Ford tractor similar to yours, graduated to a'47 chevy pickup when I was 10. Truck seemed old then,. but was only 14 years old . Go Figure?

I wish my dad had the ability to teach me when I was younger. I love working on cars, but minus a high school class for 350 engine rebuilding basics, I have been all self taught while working on my daily driver. Really need to get some funds to be able to work on a spare vehicle and go full teardown rebuild learning experience. You really could do well with your own TV series. You got what it takes, make the same length content, its all there. What is different from you and someone like Roadkill, minus funds?
