I try to beat my friend to the new one and let him know it's on before he lets me know. I did, however, look on vgg to see if he had a new one he did not, so I went and watched his sons LGG. Then, after watching his sons, then vgg had a new one up.

Very nice. We've got an old 71 Plymouth roadrunner thats been sitting in a barn on our property since the 80s. Inheritance from grandfather. I'll eventually get around to doing the same thing. We honestly have no idea why it would put away, though.

It's amazing to me that you make longer videos than Hollywood does, and it's far better content. You're the only other guy I've heard say "the right side of the grass." It made me grin. I didn't get to see her before she died because my stupid 08 Nissan Versa is too crappy to make the trip to Illinois. I'm going to borrow a car to go to her funeral. Don't know why I said all this, other than we all need to appreciate what time we have, and don't ever put off seeing your loved ones. Find a way to see them. My dad has been gone since '89 and I think about him almost daily. I wish I had told him "Thank you!" for everything he taught me. I don't think he was ever prouder than when I won a bet that I could pull the engine and tranny out of my '70 Challenger in less than 45 minutes by myself. He instilled in me the two things that have kept me sane and relatively happy in my 61 years: motorcycles and Frisbee. I still do both almost daily. Dad would have loved VGG.

Ohh boy, we gots Simple Greenage. I've been using the stuff for years--an old floor cleaning guru introduced me to it for polishing concrete floors before sealing them, and I use it to clean everything. Run it through a pressure washer for a good time, in just about any concentration you like. It's a neutral cleaner and pretty safe for pretty much everything--I've been cleaning everything with it for 10 years (run it through your washing machine in the liquid bleach box! DOOOOO IT) and never wrecked anything, ever. I REALLY like that you're working on your own version, Derek. More good cleaners is more better.

4 of my first 5 cars were slant 6 Mopars. That ignition sound is unique and recognizable to anyone who formerly owned one. That motor was basically indestructible. There were two items that always arose to shut them down. The ballast resistor on the firewall, and the nylon gear in the distributor. Otherwise they would run no matter how much they were abused. My brother had a Barracuda of that year and the rear window was super expensive to replace for the times. Thanks for the memories!

This one hit close to home for me. My Dad bought a 65 Formula S Cuda new. He drove that car for 30+ years. When I was born in December 66, I came home from the hospital in that car. I went on to drive that same car myself until I had to sell it. I've regretted that ever since. This video almost produced tears. This car is even the exact same color as mine. Despite the fact that this old girl fought you so hard, I'd still love to have it. You'll get that car running right. One day, with any luck, I'll have another one, and this time, it will stay with me in memory of my Dad. Thank you for the awesome video. I truly enjoyed it.

As a nearly 38 year resident of Pensacola I know exactly what you were feeling in the terms of heat, humidity and smell! After the first 5 years you grow your gills and that helps but you didn't have that type of time. Same humidity also means that any car that sits for too long (3 weeks or more) starts to become a petri dish / terrarium after a few rains unless it's in an enclosed garage. Then it takes 6 weeks! Congratulations on getting it moving again and look forward to seeing the solution to it's issues later.

Here's a tip to keep in your toolbox. When you have a car that's been converted to a manure spreader, first, vacuum up the mess like you did. 2nd, spray the carpet down really good with peroxide. 3rd, load it up with baking soda and let it eat at the stench as long as time permits. Then vacuum up the baking soda. It will kill the funk and absorb the odor. Here's another tip. When the wheel studs are splined to the drum, pull the hub with the drum. There's a better chance you won't damage the drum in the process.
