It's time to get the wheels in motion for this historic #777 modified race car. Once a dirt track champion car, I have an announcement in this video for its new direction, and we're going to go with it! We've got to get moving, as its first event is this summer.
Big thanks to Andy for all the help on this build!

Gorgeous work. I don't mean any disrespect and it really does look like Andy tried to keep the spirit of the car in the improvements but when you hack stuff off a car like that you lose a little bit of it's soul. The "boogers", although unsightly was the efforts of a man with a dream but limited expertise and obviously limited means. I know you'll keep that history alive but man... it hurt to see him cutting on that thing. Just my opinion... I could be wrong.

A guy really likes seein' a guy work on this here Old Iron racecar! What would this guy do before driving it on the 'highway'? FIX THE FRAME! It looks like it's ready to snap in a few places and is mostly held together by cold welds (at best). It was scary looking at that carnage. Looking forward to many more vids on #777 (that's my house number!). Thanks again...

I LOVE THIS CAR!!!! Please if you are going street legal hide all the lights that you can like hide the headlight and turn indicators in the grill. Not sure what to do about the back lights and turn signals. Your buddy is amazing with the work he done to that car it blows my mind. Get him to help you hide the lights. Great car lots and lots of history there Thank you for saving it for the next generation.

..hey Derek....I realize the fact, that the dents on the 777, are kinda like battle scars, and the paint will probably be a booger to match, but dang it.....the rest of the car looks so cool, but that lumpy trunk, imho, just holds it back......oh, and Andy sure is a master.......

Derek you need an interior hotdog warmer, a “La Cucaracha” horn and a bobble onto top so you can find the thing in the Walmart car park. (All suggestions stolen from Homer Simpson.)
