“I don't keep in touch with anyone on the show. I've been removed from the process of my life's work." Roseanne told VICE News. ”It's like the worst thing they could have possibly done to me, was to fire me from my own show and let other people write my life story.” WATCH NEXT: Not All Female Candidates Are Running Because of Trump - bit.ly/2CL4jKF

Everyone is being harsh. To say it's unforgivable I feel she is being judged so hard everyone makes mistakes and this is going beyond extreme. I feel tremendous sadness for what she is going through. She made that show what it was! My Lord she apologized many times and quite frankly you can tell she is sincere. Her face says it all.

Our actions have consequences and apologies are not always enough. She said what she said and she meant it, that why she posted the tweet in the first place. She just didn't think she would get such harsh backlash because she got away with this type of behaviour before in the past. Please stop playin the victim. 🤦🏾‍♀️

When she said "I used to be a go getter, but now I just don't know what I am" I felt that to my soul. Just going through a break up. With the only person I ever truly loved. I can relate with her on different levels of loss. I Do not agree for what she said at that time. But we need to become a world that forgives. Never forget. But forgive. Everyone is all about canceling people. And shunning them. Skipping from one thing to another. It's like we have become a world full of villains/villiness. I don't know why this video was recommended to me or why this video made me think so deeply. But life is hard. For all of us.

As a 25 year old black man, one of the first scenes I saw on television that challenged racism in America was on the Roseanne Show when she was at the checkout line at a grocery store. I definitely think her tweet was taken out of context. Roseanne is MANY things...but a racist has never, and still never, comes to mind. It’s just sad how this woman literally spent her life making America laugh just for her to be thrown under the bus for ONE incident. I could understand if Roseanne had a history of racist and derogatory speech, she doesn’t. Praying for you and still love you Roseanne.

When you get the full context of what Roseanne tweeted, it comes down to being a stupid tweet, nothing more. She has more than apologized but because of the unfortunate political climate we live in today, Roseanne, a woman who battles mental issues everyday, had her life publicly destroyed all so that a few network executives can pat themselves on the back while they score political points. When she said "I used to be a go getter, but now I just don't know what I am", the words that she was searching for were, "A has been". She was/is very wealthy and can afford the best psychological/physchiatric help, yet she did not, and self-destructed, then doubled down. She sounds only slightly like she has accepted responsibility, and feels as if she is the victim. That retweet could be interpreted only one way, and it was racist. "I was tired, sleepy, depressed, and I just retweeted something and went back to sleep, and when I woke up, it was all over. Yeah - there are consequences. If she were too depressed to function, then she should have gotten help. No, 'Get out of psych" card for her. Rosanne was a lady who had the talent to turn her pain into a sitcom, then flused it all down the toilet in a nanosecond. I guess "look before you leap" comes to mind. As well as "think before you speak", which just seems so obvious, but difficult to master by some.

So Sagisli - when did she apologize? I admit, I haven't followed this too closely since watching the first reboot of the original show, I thought it was BS and unfunny and stopped watching. But everything I have seen on the subject, never does Rosanne admit being wrong and apologizing for the tweet. She wants to try to explain it, try to show how it wasn't racially motivated, but never does she just admit she was wrong and actually say I...AM....SORRY. Lots of excuses, lots of lame reasoning, but nothing else. I have known plenty of people over the years that were "chemically enhanced" (who doesn't in today's world of "better living through chemistry") or who have suffered from depression and/or other mental issues - they don't run around making comments like this. There are many examples of making acerbic, often-mistaken wrongfully taken jokes. But this? There isn't any basis for it. Even in this interview - her chance to get out there and actually apologize, and yet - she doesn't. She explains how she "wanted to..." and again lots of weak excuses, but no apology, no explanation that makes sense, nothing.

Dear Roseanne, I watched your interview on reel. You talked about your life before Fame n fortune. And all I could do was cry. I married young, had 3 kids, by 20. Had a very lazy husband, who did not do woman's work . And everything around our house was woman's work. That was in the 60'. No personal hair dryers, no disposable anything. I had to work. his job didn't cover half the bills. I quite school half way thru the 9th grade so I had almost no education. I got a job bartending 10 hours a shift. 5 nights a week. I got up at 7 am. Fed and dressed the kids ages: 3, 2, and 1. Sent them out to play. Rolled my hair, ironed my clothes for work, cleaned the kitchen, and the rest of the house. Fed the kids lunch then put them down for a nap. Got my husband up an hour before his work, fed him and by 1 pm he went to work. I showered, got dinner for kids in the fridge for later. Got dressed n did my hair n make up. Took kids n 3 diaper bags to babysitter, and got to work by 4 pm. Worked til 2:15 am. Got home by 2:50 fell into bed. Slept 4 hours. And started all over again. Finally I left lazy husband. 1 less to clean up after. Many times I went crazy. But I had to pull it together. I had no choice. I worked and raised my kids. While you were talking about doing it all by your self and having to work too. I Totally cried like a baby. I knew you knew how insane crazy hard it was. And there's no one to give you a break. I totally forgot about those days, So hearing you, made all the crazy come flooding back. The more you talked, the calmer I became. And I made peace with the crazies. THANK YOU FOR THAT. It felt like a heavy weight had been lifted off my back. Oh yeah. There's one more thing. YOUR SOOO VERY WELCOME. YOU HAVE BRIGHTENED SOOO MANY LIVES , MADE MANY MANY PEOPLE LAUGH N LAUGH N LAUGH. I KNOW THAT FOR A FACT. I AM ONE OF THEM. ALWAYS YOUR FAN, EDWINA PRESTON

Roseanne, after watching this clip my heart hurt watching the pain that I could see in your face and your speech. I hope that you get through this with your sanity in place and your gift of making others laugh and cry. We all make mistakes no one is perfect. My heart goes out to you Roseanne! Your show spoke to my heart because I grew up in a town like Lanford and I have watched it time and time again and still watch it. You created a masterpiece for the working class. Your comment was not racist, you made a joke because you are a comedian. Shame on them for firing you! The new show sucks without you in my opinion.
