Not really a person can walk can they not. A man or woman can easily walk across the Russian border. In eastern Russia theres the city of Blagoveshchensk Its 1 km across from heibe and when ur in heibe u take a bus to mongolia . Its easy .

@@ThePhantom712 you'd have to apply for a biometric passport first. then get to the border. have funds to stay afloat abroad for quite some time. all of it costs money & takes time and not everyone can afford it. in september, all plane & train ticket prices skyrocketed because most were sold out (idk about now). people had to travel by car for thousands of kms and stay in traffic for days before the opportunity to actually cross the border. so yeah, only the privileged and desperate ones could leave the country.

It's a matter of wishes. For example, 1-bedroom apartment in Moscow costs 150 000$, it's enough to buy an airplane ticket and book hotels. A poor man from small cities can take a credit to buy tickets.

Sadly, considering how Putin chased out well over a Half a Million and Counting(+) of its Best and Brightest because they can't bear to take part in his psychopathic murderous bent of their good & beautiful neighbor, unfortunately, the future looks bleak for the elder and incapacitated Russia in the near future - until at least one or two generations after Putin's end.

Sorry, but replacing one Imperialist military for another isn't anything to be proud of. We human beings of planet earth should stop fighting for any Imperialist force, and only fight for the liberation of the citizens of earth to free themselves from Imperialists and their yoke. Look at the pain and misery the US military has unleashed since its inception. It's not anything to be proud of any more than being part of the Russian Federation military apparatus.

Many Ukrainians (including myself) speak fluent Russian & indulge in Russian media. I also know plenty of eastern Ukrainians who do not associate themselves with Russia. This is Russian propaganda from within Ukrainian borders. If someone is unhappy with their way of life in Ukraine & want to join the Russian Federation (where they have no toilets, no plumbing, barely any money, communism, etc.) then they should move across the border to Russia & not support a bloody war. One of the major Reasons is Money of course , but look how many different people are living in the US , the US is different in this matter an artificial construct , there will always be a Migrant group hierarchy , so there is also an atmosphere or thinking that you can change the regime into something that benefits you and your People , this is why there are so many Lobbyists . I mean what is America or being an American anyway , it's just the biggest company in the world , and the management can be replaced .

I don't think they are first choice, Americans just only report the news on themselves and ignore stories you can't see yourself as relevant to, cos some of you guys are kind of self obsessed and those are whom your news media pander to. Plenty of countries have Russian refugees, most of them are in bordering states. The USA has a lot more space and money than those countries so it is not feasible for them all to go next door. Next door is also a lot more likely to be next on Putin's hit list.

Mexico needs to take advantage of this situation and not for selfish reasons. For one, many cultures and nationalities are "stranded" along the border. Look at what the Haitians are doing in Tijuana. They are setting up their Little Haiti's with prosperous small businesses, helping out the local economy, heck there's even Asian communities in Mexicali and by Monterrey. Not just that, but it would be a rich cultural hodgepodge of various nationalities just in Mexico. Little Haiti's, Chinatowns and Koreatowns next to Russian Orthodox churches in Mexico, not only would it be a economic and human capital enrichment, but a cultural one as well. Imagine the possibilities....🤔🤔🤔

Yea but the putin would claim Mexico is oppressing russians and try to annex that territory. This is literally why many countries ban russians from entering. Before the Baltic countries joined NATO, putin was shipping homeless and prostitutes to either Latvian or Lithuanian towns in order to then claim it as russia. They es done it in Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine (that’s why they kidnapped Ukrainian children)

We undertook this journey as a family a year ago. Now, more than ever, my family and I understand the feelings of these people. It's indescribable; it's a nightmare. It's difficult to convey the path one must now take to get from Russia to the USA. In terms of stress, it's comparable only to the death of a loved one. My wife and I, both medical professionals, lost everything: good jobs, a business, our standing. We had to leave everything behind for the sake of saving our child's life and our own. Since 2014, we haven't supported the current regime in Russia, but the opposition itself is weak and fragmented in this country. Before the war, remnants of the opposition were simply exterminated, and expressing one's opinion was dangerous. Now, you can end up in prison for several years for a drawing or a poster with a couple of words. I don't believe that anything will change in Russia, even when the bloodthirsty monster Putin dies. There won't be democracy in this country for a very long time, and it will never be safe here. I'm glad that everyone who can and wants to is fleeing. Usually, these people are capable, hardworking, and intelligent. They are incredibly resilient psychologically because going through this path now is already a feat. Russia doesn't need these people; let them contribute to civilized countries like the USA. Good luck to them!"

People really be thinking Mexico is a super dangerous place to be, and that´s not true. We´ve always kept our borders opened to migrants from all over the world and we do our best to give them food, shelter and cover their basic needs. A lot of migrants wait here until they´re cleared to enter the USA but many others choose to start a new life here! Yes, we have our issues with insecurtiy mainly due to cartels supplying the huge demand of drugs from the USA but if your´re not involved with ilicit activities it´s rare you will get harmed in any way while being here.

@@joselopez-kx3sm it's more to do with cultural differences actually, since what you mention is true but in any case makes it easier to navigate the system as they did back home. English is more easy for a Russian to speak (due to cultural influence and the effects of the Cold War) as well as there being a much larger Russian community already established in the US, giving them economic opportunities and a buffer in getting used to a different culture and speaking a different language. The same is much less prevalent in Mexico, but even then the number of Russian migrants to Mexico has increased significantly too. I have a Russian friend who just got to Mexico City and has no intention of going anywhere else, he's quite content.
