Thank god we no longer have to listen to Jimmy Spencer. I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with his assessment on Vickers, he was just annoying as hell, and had these sorta opinions on drivers despite being one of the dirtiest drivers of his time. No idea why Speed ever gave him a job.
@socorio41002 жыл бұрын
I can tell you why he got a job (in my opinion), but I do not like him either. I think all we ask for as fans is NASCAR to be talked about seriously. The reason why I loved NASCAR growing up is because everyone who talked about our sport talked about it with a genuine passion. Darryl, Larry, Mike, Chris, Jeff, etc. Everyone on Trackside, everyone on the pre-race show, so on. Even though Jimmy was way too performative in trying to be a hardass which is the opposite of the personality I enjoy hearing, he still took NASCAR very seriously. He wasn't the best driver but I think he was way better at analyzing than he was at driving and he (as you saw in this segment) actually did a lot of research. Longwinded but yeah
