What'd be nice, would be if the devs added a little bit of fluff-lore on what things are. like say if you look at the pig-iron tools choice, there'd be a little text blurb about what that exactly means, same with maybe market squares rather than stalls might have an explanation of the concept and why it increases market access and value, etc. Just small bits of interesting things to read and thus put context to why the upgrade makes logical sense, rather than just 'it gives +70 tools cuz it requires +100 coal now'.

Its a shame that peat isnt a thing for the netherlands in vicky 3, we might not have had a lot of coal but our industrial revolution was powered by peat. Maybe later in an dlc/update knowing paradox :)

Or Paradox may update and fix it normally. I can always forgive unbalanced or incorrect things since they can be fixed. but fundamentally broken games or utterly shit-made games are where I cannot forgive it.

Enjoying all your paradox playthroughs a lot! The one thing I would like to see a content creator do that I've never seen before is doing a Dutch run all the way from imperator to Hoi4, with all PDX titles in between. There's no converters for EU4 to VIC3 yet, but maybe one day?

I love this game so far and I also want to say that if someone doesn't like this game because there is too much state control and no capitalists and less free market then it os okay, I respect your opinion. I personally think that it is great that this game is different from Vicky 2, I mean it is a sequel.

I’m comparing it to vanilla HOI4 because that’s the only other paradox game that I’ve played vanilla, and this seems to be way more polished and has a lot more work and thought put into it. I hope the DLCs are equally transformative

My game is running fine and I have X570 motherboard with old 3700x cpu and amd 5700XT GPU. Also two m2ssd drives that are essential in this game IMHO... And 32Gb of system memory... But in reality go to AMD 5800x3d with AM4 platform, or 7600x with AM5 platform or 13600k with intel platform with any decent modern GPU. It does not have to be super fast. Just have enough memory, and big m2ssd to load the game. Any modern PC is good enough if it has enough memory and fast drive!

dude you should try and make a play for Germany and France then maybe Poland as well. that would be insane if you could pull it off but it's very hard to do, I have been doing a German one and my aim is to rebuild Nazi Germany and it's really hard seem combat in this game is stupid.

yes the combat system is really unforgiving as well. You just need the armed forces to be loyal, have generals that give the amximum offensive or defensive bonusses, make sure you have the latest barracks production method and then pray!

@@FlyingDutchy have you done any Naval Stuff yet that is very limited in terms of use cases and i hate the system alot.. i think the devs need an overhaul on combat. the way ships work is that you can't use them with a ground army unless the ships and army are from the same place.
