You missed out a very crucial detail on this video. Shortly before the show Sam & Cat was cancelled, the show won an award, but Jeanette did not attend the event nor went up stage to claim the award. It was Ariana alone. Jeanette apologized to the fans and gave a statement that her mom said it's important to put a stand on something she believes in. It was later known that she had a dispute with the producers as Ariana was making significantly more money from the show than she was making, despite they were both the lead roles. I'm surprised why this wasn't touched in this video. I believe it's very obvious why they had to cancel the show. (Sam & Cat)

Its a difficult crossroad of separating the work from the author. Dan IS a disgusting exploitative creep, but he is also undeniably an incredible show writer. His shows have long standing appeal and popularity even to this day, and not simply for nostalgia. Personally, I think Ariana used Victoria to victimize herself and to just get more publicity by starting fake drama, but it was actually quite true. I read that Victoria wrote a final eppisode. They graduated, tori, and andrea got signed to a music label, beck went off to Hollywood. Not sure with jade or not, I cant actually remember what she said about jade, robbie and cat, got married and started their own babysitting service.
