We need to talk more about Leon Thomas👏🏾‼️ He’s won a Grammy, worked under the legendary Babyface (who’s worked with legends like Michael Jackson for goodness sakes), he’s produced tracks on Ariana’s first album, positions and certified lover boy, he has Ariana Grande levels potential of being a mainstream artist and was arguably the best vocalist on the show along with Ariana and Liz. He deserves more recognition. He’s made it as a producer/songwriter in the industry, I hope he also releases a solo studio album though. *edit, recall him saying he prefers being behind the scenes so as long as he’s happy and creating*

Even then the show still saw some success in the short run that it had. Hannah Montana and iCarly were definitely bigger shows, they also ran longer. Nowadays these three shows we're talking about are definitely on the bucket list of must watch for teen sitcoms!

I haven’t seen her in ages. Glad to see her again”. But what’s funny is that she never stopped acting, it’s just that this Netflix film is the most notable thing she’s done since victorious.

Leon Thomas deserved more screen time and story lines, he carried the show by writing most of the songs. Victoria doesn’t deserve the hate she got just because of an character she played and that by the media made up feud between her and Ari. They also did Ari wrong for silencing her mic when singing in a duo to let the teammate shine.

Nah, her career steadily declined ever since Victorious when her “canceling” began. She had that song “Gold” that debuted around the same time as “The Way”, and it went absolutely no where. She sang that one song in Footloose, but I’m pretty sure Nickelodeon secured that for her. She was in that stalker TV show for like 10 seconds before it was canceled. I think it’s just been made public knowledge that she flopped now, not so much that she’s been canceled randomly.

Flopping and being cancelled are two different things however, but I will admit flopping did play a part on her being an easier target. If someone like Ariana Grande was being cancelled by Twitter, she at least has die hard fans that will minimize that impact, whereas Victoria doesn’t. Victoria may not have been consistent in the spotlight, but I don’t remember her actually doing anything that made people all of a sudden dislike her so much. Victoria still went on to do the things we said above, she just didn’t find much success with them. It definitely makes you wonder when the public opinion really swayed. I didn’t mind her at all until this beef with the shows ending. Her character was bland, but like you said, that’s no reason to dislike the actress. Ariana, Liz, and Matt played characters I wouldn’t want to hang out with either, yet public opinion of them seems fine.

This is just a theory, but I think Ariana wanted to be taken seriously. She has the best talent in the show and they made her look dumb all the time. Nickelodeon cancelled How to Rock during the same time that they cancelled their other teen shows (Victorious, Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures, Supah Ninjas & iCarly) while renewing Big Time Rush (the show) for one more season. The reason wasn't ratings (all of these shows were doing well in the ratings) but because Nick was "going towards a new transition". Said transition was just to target the age 2-11 kid group and with kiddier shows such as Henry Danger (the first few seasons of that series), the Haunted Hathaways, the Thundermans, & Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, & Dawn while keeping more SpongeBob SquarePants. However, ratings soon dropped for the network after BTR ended. So they tried to bring back their tween & teen viewers by getting newer shows like "School of Rock: the series" and revamping Henry Danger to be more "sophisticated" so they could appeal to the tween and teens again. These are all facts from insiders.

The situation with Ariana and Victoria never sat right with me. That woman got bullied on the internet for YEARS over rumors and lack of clarity. And 95% of it came from Ariana’s fans. Had Ariana firmly cleared things up and straight up ADDRESSED her fans from the beginning instead of throwing out shady comments that leave room for rumors, and going to Twitter where a tiny fraction of her fan base was at the time, things would’ve been fine. But I think she liked the drama and the fact that the attention was off of her when people blamed her for the reason Sam & Cat ended. People STILL go this day blame Victoria for why a damn kids show ended and it’s insane. Of course everybody makes mistakes, but the fact of the matter is that she was never held accountable for it and someone totally innocent took the fall instead. It’s weird that anytime it comes to Ariana, her fans turn a blind eye to accountability yet we can do the same to everyone else without problem.

I know this is old but iCarly was huge back then. I remember, It had way higher ratings than Victorious too. The episode with Freddie saving Carly’s life had over 11 million viewers. I think the real reason is because Nickelodeon wanted to turn Victorious into a High School Musical replica. The same way HSM went on tours, Nickelodeon wanted to do this with the show. I don't think thats what Victoria or the rest of the cast really wanted to do and I don't think thats what they signed up for. Also, it probably cost Nick a good amount of money to make the music for the show, and since they weren't willing to tour, the money wasn't being recouped back.

Well that’s because she’s not going to lower herself to society’s definition of a “star”. If you look at her compared to many other celebrities, she’s positive, natural, reserved, and carries herself nicely. She’s not wrapped up in Hollywood’s standards like most celebrities and that’s why she won’t be “big”. Until she throws her morals out the window, she’ll continue to stay where she is. But I don’t think she has any problem with that which is honestly good. We need more positive influences like her in today’s time.

I really didn't get all the hate Victoria got when the show was cancelled as if it was her fault. Victoria and Ariana weren't best friends or that close like the way Ariana was close with Liz and Daniella but they were still friends, and I feel like the drama that ensued after the show ended caused a strain on their friendship but now it looks like they rekindled it and I'm glad! They have been so supportive of each other on Instagram. I'm also glad that Victoria's career has been picking up recently because it has been stagnant after Victorious ended which I 100% believe has to do with the drama that was egged on because they painted her out to be this bully. Victoria's new music is amazing especially Treat Myself, which has gotten a lot of love from music critics. Her new movies Trust (on Hulu) and Afterlife of the Party (Netflix) were loved by fans and critics especially Trust for Victoria's performance. She's in Australia right now filming another movie. I am so happy that she's making a comeback in both music and film! The entire cast are doing their thing and are all still friends!

Victorious is one of the shows that shaped up my childhood, although it ended faster than we all expected it still gave us a lot of good memories that we still loved going back. It was my first exposure of Ariana and Victoria whom I both admire. The soundtracks were my theme songs growing up, it's just sad to see how Dan Schneider ruined it.

It ended cause Victoria thought she was gonna become big and went on a solo tour with the big time rush to promote her singing career (which ended up being a failure since her first single Gold flopped big time). So without the main character (Tori) available to promote a new season and record new songs for the show, Nickelodeon decided to just cancel Victorious. So it was not really Victoria's decision to end the show, that's true, but it was still definitely her fault if it got canceled so abruptly.

I think it would be nice to see a victorious reboot where Tori, Cat, and Jade become successful pop stars, Andrè becomes a successful producer and composer, Beck becomes a hit actor, and Robbie and Rex become comedians. It could be about Cat and Robbie getting married, and Tori and Jade decide to perform together and then there becomes some kind of conflict when Cat chooses Tori for the maid of honor instead of jade. Andre will be the best man. Beck gets stuck in India after getting a role in a Bollywood movie but can get a flight back home cuz some psycho kidnaps him cuz of his good looks and fame.
