For a youngster this is a great starter gun. I use mine as a humane dispatching gun. I keep the longer barrel setup on for the most power. These guns are very easy to improve with a stronger hammer spring and larger transfer port.

BSA lightening ( a big NO ) lol. Unless you get it tuned then I’d still not buy one. Get a HW95K 😊 loving the vids bro. Try a few different pellet weights through that pistol, that seems awfully low on power.

For hunting or pest control you want enough power (energy) to be ethical but for paper targets and plinking you really don't need much. For example the Daisy Red Ryder is a classic fun BB air gun very popular in the states, it only produces ~1ftlb.

Keep away from the BSA, go for the 99s or 95k, then eventually drop in a tbt kit.
