To be realistic, the intersection itself isn't dangerous. There's clear visibility from every angle. It's the jackholes that keep speeding through the neighborhoods, like the streets are raceways. This crap has been going on for years! At least the speed humps are helping.

The sign behind the anchor shows 30 mph, caution children, you have cars lining both sides of the street, a stop sign and other signs I can't see. I get why you say to produce obstacles but people will always find a way to be irresponsible. Charges and penalties would be my suggestion. Take away their freedoms, no driving/no license, fines, community service, classes & Duke people straight up need jail time IMHO. Personally I think they should start severely penalizing the violators. This person needs to have time behind bars.

I don't know this specific neighborhood, but there are lots of areas I drive around to explore, but tree-lined neighborhoods (like this one) hide the stop signs on occasion. It starts with the driver who fails to respect the traffic laws. When stiffer penalties are given. Maybe then they will change bad driving habits. Fail to stop for speeding thru stop signs. Causing harm to others and property damage because they did not respect the driving privileges we enjoy.. Loose your license for a year or two. Might make one think twice. Second, offenders longer suspension of a driver's license. Yet many already drive without insurance, suspended license and even with the expired temp tags.
