Most people don't have any issues running GTX 1050 on this system and i7 doesn't use a lot more power than i5 so no worries there. The way I see it, even if the PSU dies in one year time... it only costs about $30 or less to buy a new one.

*Good question* Yes, just make sure the video card you get has three video outs. For example, DVI, Digital Display Port, HDMI, mini Display Port... any of those combinations. I'm planning to make a xp gaming machine just to play xp and below on a HP parvillion elite slim. Can I run a gt 750 lp with the stock power supply and stock parks? Are do I need more power?

Thanks. Technically speaking any video card is supported; however, unless is "low profile" card it will not fit inside the case... I am yet to see a 1060 or 1070 in low profile format. Which kinda sucks. :)

That's an old Nvidia GTS 250; however, recommended is GTX 1050 ti like this: amzn.to/31D3ug5 . Make sure you get a *Low Profile* type if you decide to buy a GPU that fits directly inside this case. There seems to be alot of disagreement on if this card should be installed using the original 240w power supply, some say the 240w is plenty using this card, saying that even when using this card they still never come close to using 240 watts for the whole system

I agree... there are a lot of different opinions on this but the fact remains that nobody reported to me that their power supply died. 😁 Anyway, this is why I'm working on production of an adapter that allows external GPU mounting which can be used with any spare power supply.

I'm not sure... possibly on medium to low 1080p (I don't have one to say for sure). If you install GTX 1050 "low profile" like this amzn.to/2ENMxa1 it will be much better for gaming. The worst thing that can happen is a year later power supply dies and it costs around $30 to replace...
