I did a lot of sound design for game dev jams and imo you get the best results from actual field recordings. Sure, in the end it really depends on the type of game but if f.e. foot steps sound like actual foot steps it helps so much to identify with the Charakter. Great Projekt mate, gamesound is so underrated, most people never think about how much Impact it has for the gameplay ❤️

You're right, just after creating the ouch/and some jump/step sounds, I realized they didn't fit and I want to do an episode on foley as well :)
