This documentary means so so so much to me. It introduced a 5th grade me to the concept of game design, what goes on in the industry and even Queen of all things. I watched this thinking like a lot of people here that it was gonna be some epic crossover between games but turned into a wildly interesting and entertaining documentary about the history of the games I love. Here I am now, about to go into university for game design and chasing my dreams of creating a game I hope people will enjoy for years on end. All of this and more is due to this documentary, it is a major element of what has shaped me today and I am forever grateful that it was made and shared.

This is the most genius idea for this channel and for KZbin, making this movie as an ad, I don't even know how much money their making with so many viewers watching the entire movie and of course, the movie is without ads because the movie is an ad!! video games are getting more stronger and more entertaining in this generation and for the next, video games are the future of the entertainment, movies are going to become like video games, I visualize the person becoming part of a movie in VR thanks of video games technology, I don't know what else is going to be invented for now on because of this.

It all went from flying pixels on black screens to the point where we’re approaching a full-blown metaverse. All that and everything in between is glorious in its own way. Grew up in the 70s? Atari was your hero. The 80s? Nintendo really went “Oh hey there, imma bout to save this whole industry”. The 90s? Rivalries galore, and an unthinkable jump into the 3rd dimension. As for the 00s? That was me. I still miss my Wii. But I’m about ready to move on, and with the idea of a metaverse implanted in my head, I do believe there really are no limits. Others may be perturbed, but this is an era I will personally welcome with open arms. Once a gamer, always a gamer.

Volume is way too low. Had to turn up my system quite a bit whereas most youtube videos I've had to turn it down 50%
@Barcrest5 жыл бұрын
Yeah what is with that? Slick production but some really low volume? I am guessing it was to fo with how it was uploaded to you tube.
@mediajuice5 жыл бұрын
Yes, we've seen this comment from a few other users. It appears KZbins encoding algorithim has caused this after we uploaded our h264 quicktime render of the film. Working to resolve this now (hopefully).

I remember watching this as a kid and thinking it was a huge crossover film but was dissapointed to see it was just a documentary. I still enjoyed it a lot

I love this documentary. I watched it with my mom while I was detoxing from drugs...2 years clean and I'm watching it again. Praise God
