Its due to the law of attraction and other universal laws. When you're missing your ex you're focusing on him in chase and pursuit energy mode even if you do not reach out to him. When you take the focus off him and on to someone new all of that needy and chasing energy is gone. They do not know this on a conscious level because it's the universe at work. I see 2 guys casually. Every time I take my energy completely off one of them and focus on the other, the guy I'm not thinking about contacts me and wants to see me. Its like clockwork.

DAMN this is so completely relevant to my situation!! I was into this guy three months ago, and now that I've moved on from that crush he's started stalking me on FB while I've been holding back. I just wanted to comment because he literally could have me eating out of his hand had he moved in for the kill back then (and I don't get like that about many men), but now I've had time to put on armour, I trust him less and I don't know if I'm gonna let him back in. Never was as aware as I am now about how men operate (the "as soon as a man thinks he doesn't have you anymore it messes with his ego" etc.).
