Certainly not knowing the building would collapse, at 1am, the only thing possible to do is pull the fire alarm. If the doors are locked after hours requiring a key, how to get people to notice is scary. Police and fire dept wouldn’t arrive because of that kind of call without significant damage being reported. Seven min. isn’t a lot of time to warn a lot of people except pulling the fire alarm. The entrance caved in too so she would be risking her life not knowing the building was going to collapse.

Funny . cuz the sister building is bone dry in its lower level parking garage . Are you new to the planet? It used to be everybody tried to help each other, and the America of the past led the way. The Red Cross, Red Crescent, Israeli rescue specialists, the French “Doctors Without Borders”, UN-UNICEF, volunteer health care and fire depts from around the country and around the world, worked together when disasters struck anywhere. We have been so privileged in this country, and it used to be we were grateful. Out of gratitude for our good fortune, we volunteered, contributed, and tried to leave a damaged place in better shape, no matter who it belonged to, better than before. That is one of the points to having ALLIES, a point obviously not perceived by TFG, who ungraciously spat on our allies and accused them of being thieves. International doctors came to help the Navajo. UK and Germany helped Puerto Rico. And CanCancun Cruz went to Mexican Riviera while his constituents in TX froze and suffered without water, food-so New Yorkers raised $4MILLION and sent volunteer electrical linesmen and repair crews, water, food, even sent pet food, and supplies to shelters.

Their Search and Rescue Brigade are often involved in larger rescue events all over the world as they have a highly specialised team. When we had huge forrest fires here in Sweden we had help from Italy with water bombing despite them being 1600 miles away. I don't think it is that odd, but maybe not highlighted in the media as often as it should be.

For all the hindsight experts on here saying that the couple should have been raising the alarm instead of recording, a) How do you know they hadn't already? and b) The emergency services were already on the way when the building collapsed as early quakes in the building had set off alarms in the building, alerting the emergency services that something was up. The footage this couple recorded is vital evidence as to what happened.
