I'd love a remaster of xenogears. Perhaps not the full ff7 remake, but modern systems, higher resolution textures, add in missing content. Finish the latter parts of the game. Etc. Etc.

It's in a hidden FMV that you can't normally access. It was intended to be an additional opening or ending movie I think

I just finished playing this game on the PS1 and man, Xenogears was so amazing. I loved it. I jumped in after replaying Xenosaga and this was a treat. Praying for a remaster or a remake one day, but for now, sharing the music will keep me happy 💕

This track does not play in any cutscenes, areas, battles or menus in Xenogears. It was intended to play during a staff credits sequence after the opening cutscene; however, this was cut because it was decided that this would make the opening sequence too long.

But it was secretly included on the PS1 disc and you could play it on a computer if you knew where to find it.

Had it not been for KZbin, I would have missed this amazing track all those many years ago. If you listen closely enough, you can hear this many variants of this song across the entire game, but the vocals of this song are best said by itself... "The song remains, like a haunting melody." Truly something that I will never forget.

チョコボの不思議なダンジョンについてきた体験版を何度もプレイし、本作が発売したときは本当に感動してやりこんだ。いまだにゼノギアスを超えるゲームに出会えていない。本当に最高のゲームだった。令和の技術でリメイクされないかなぁ。

The song is also the audio to a music video stored in the English version of Xenogears' second disc. However, this file cannot ordinarily be accessed without extraction tools or similar methods.

Unrelated, but try using an audio extraction utility on Lunar 2: Eternal Blue or Vanguard Bandits sometime. Working Designs hid a really funny audio track in there.

ゲーム本編では未収録曲本編でなくてもスペシャルムービーで収録しても良かったのでは？ゲーム中の最初の方で流す予定が本編始まるまで時間がかかりすぎるという理由で未収録となったとか、残念だわね。

I remember can access the music video with the special bonus disc of Lunar 1 or 2 (forgot which one) but the clips are a bit different from this? Still the same song tho.
