I know, but I believe that's what makes it so interesting and fun. In every other game, the mother would've been way more scary and intimidating than the daughter - like, obviously. But they did it differently, in a way you could still enjoy the story and it just feels so refreshing to have a story like this where you can not tell everything that is going to happen without even playing the game to the end. They did a fantastic job with the design of the character's personalities, it actually impresses me more than the graphics.

Still disappointed she wasn't the main villain or at the very least, given more screen time and development. She was formidable and complex, I just want to know everything about her. Hottness aside, she is truly fascinating. She was able to create 3 sentient beings from her experiments, she loves the arts, and she is skilled at wine making. Capcom really knocked it out of the park with her. Kudos to Maggie Robertson for bringing her to life, she truly nailed the performance. I hope there is a way Lady Dimitrescu can return to the games/ be revived, along with her girls. My favourite level was the Castle, I adored the lavish setting and seeing the Dimitrescu family dynamic. At the end of the day, she is a loving, devoted mother to her daughters which forms a closenit, warm family that just so happen need blood to survive.

Alcina needing to consume flesh and blood to control her blood disease and transformation is so interesting. Lady D being a minor villain is so disappointing and I was thinking that she'd be Mother Miranda's second in command. I even thought that most of the game was going to take place in the Castle despite the other house leaders. Hopefully Capcom will make up for shifting the game's marketing on her by making DLC showing her backstory or imply that she's still alive. They know Lady D blew up online so they made her the face of the game and It would be such a waste if they didn't do anything else with her.

She was mad beyond the point of return. She should have learned about it sooner, meaning before she allowed her daughters to go up against him one by one. She let them go after him because she didn't think he was that much of a threat. Afterall they did bring him to her once, when he first got in the castle.

You wouldn't have been able to see a reflection unless they built it into the game. Mirrors in games don't actually use reflections, they use clever tricks to mimic mirrors. When Lady D is looking in the mirror, that's actually just another 3D model of her on the other side, made to mirror the position/movements.

Mirror reflections are still more efficient, because using "virtual cameras" is what would double the rendering demands, effectively halving the frame rate. Pretty much 100% of the time, what you see in mirrors are either screen space reflections, and thus muddled and blurry and not actual reflections, or complete mirror models. For example, in the latest hitman, when you see yourself in reflections, that's actually not screen space occlusion. It's a literal mirrored model of the scene overlayed on the glass. Poly count isn't actually a giant issue in modern games. There's some space games from years ago, where each ship has over 1 million poly's each (and a lot of that can be reduced based on distance). As long as you are overall within a certain threshold, games will run just fine. Poly count doesn't really effect frame rate that much these days, even with AA applied, because details smaller than a pixel don't even enter the antialiasing pipeline, thus you're not actually antialiasing every poly.

i believe its stated that lady D requires blood and flesh to prevent rapid mutation... as stated in miranda's research notes. as stated, if imbalanced she would mutate rapidly - thus an unsuitable candidate for eveline... my theory is that the dagger caused her to lose blood that kept her body in check, therefore transforming her rapidly.

I kind of thought that the dagger was coated in a ton of poisons it corrupted all of the blood making it unable to use the blood within her causing the runaway mutation into the dragon, much like Moreau into his fish form where it was unwilling

I believe the dagger was supposed to be used on her heart, like the stake on a vampire. That would certainly kill her. However, stab her flank was enough to weaken her, and enough to neutralize her regeneration. Without her super regeneration she is forced to take the dragon form to survive.

While Ethan remained dead, he was infected and fused with metamycytes(not sure if the spelling lol, correct me if I'm wrong) and was revived back but surprisingly his mind is sane and he was just himself. He's a rare case of metamycyte being, a sane inanimate being. That's why he can re-attach his body parts back and regenerate. Lady D being the first Lord we face is actually very good, story wise. Lady D has daughters and Ethan has to kill them in order to try to find his own daughter. So in his quest to claim his child she ends up killing someone else's. Her castle also reminds players of the Spencer Mansion in some way.

I really wish her area and boss fight was more towards the end of the game, they really made it seem like she was going to be such a major part of the game, and it seemed like she was a lot more important than the other Lord's. Angie's area felt so quick and short, and Moreau's whole thing was that the others don't even like him that much or he gets made fun of a lot.. Lady D was the only one besides Heisenberg with lackies or mini bosses and I think her story just made it seem like she was SUPPOSED to be second in command to Miranda. It just sucks to see her go so early, I was hoping she could've proven to Miranda that she was stronger than the others or something.
