If i was a betting man i would bet on vidit butchering a winning game. Free money for me and free elo for opponent. Its not a skill or talent issue but purely nerves and confidence against strong opponents. He has the potential to be in the 2750 elite group but he needs to get his mental act together.

The way he lost to Nepo in candidates is something which still disgusts me, probably only he could have lost that game, and that game is kind of similar to the way he has lost this game. It's Vidit. I'm sure he atleast has 10 other games where he squandered the win against top top players, after playing brilliantly in the whole game. He just lacks the edge to finish the games imo. Otherwise, he's pretty aggressive and strong and creates imbalances in the position regularly.

15:59: Arjun makes the position cramped and restricted to a smaller area of the board and shows how a knight can dominate a bishop in such positions. That's such a useful lesson!
