I did find a4 but that's only because i was looking for the most ridiculous move there is. When agad told the move my jaw dropped. The fact that Vidit actually found it and why it's winning is incredibly impressive. Amazing

When he plays well he really plays like a top 10, his quality of games can be seen in the first part of tata steel. He just needs more consistency and confidence.

Vidit reminding everyone that he is 2700+ !!! We all know his streaming phase with samay , how funny he is ....etc etc. But when he is serious enough he is a MONSTER !! He plays complicated lines so well ...it's a treat to watch him. Hope he improves more in pressure situations which he is doing now :) #VD OP guys...indians fans would understand this :P

a4 was the first move i did look at though i did not calculate everything that did follow. feels good :P 2200 peak and then stopped play , over 20 years ago. Only look at a game every now and then without thinking about it anymore. Great vids,i do enjoy your videos a lot.

14:32, relating to the fact that Kxd8 2.Rxh8 3.Bxe8 is not possible as it backed up from b5 to a6, no there is not an option for the bishop to reach e8 square, as it committed to a less favorable diagonal.

#suggestion, if time permits Giri also played an interesting one. In fact the whole round was a fighting one. The Mamyedrarov and MVL was also awesome, those central connected passed pawns just one and two steps away from their destination.

a4. I don't get how such moves are possible. You can't take it. You can't ignore it. You can't defend it or even lose a tempo moving away from it. I guess there's always a move in a position that is solved for mate, but some of these are really hard to understand.

I was thinking about Rh1 the whole time. It would be a very strong move, but I didn't notice the only defensive resource for black: Kd8 followed by Be8 blocking against checkmate. If I had seen that it would be not so far off to look into attacks against the Bishop, black's only defender against checkmate.
