Thanks Olga and Rene! Good to see you again and catch up on things. Thank you very much for the in depth insights into accommodations, they were very helpful and I'm more inclined to spend an extended stay in Vietnam now.

Thanks Jack! We plan to make new videos about our life here now that we have more experience. We also want to interview some of our expat friends, I’ll talk more about our plans in the upcoming video. Have a safe trip and hope Vietnam will live up to expectations:)

I think about spending some winters in Da Nang. It’s so affordable + amazing food, especially compared to lack of freshness + increased cost of produce in Canadian winters. I just paid 4 usd for two tiny handfuls of sugar snap peas. 5 usd for two heads of broccoli lol. Food is so expensive here in winter! We are headed to KL, Langkawi, Koh Lipe, + Gili T this winter with our 3 kids. Thanks for all you share! 🙏 Enjoying your videos!

Hello Olga, My wife and I are coming to Da Nang in March and I would really like to see some of the tunnels and booby traps that the Viet Cong used. Is there anywhere in Da Nang to see anything like that?? I know there is a place called Cu Chi near Ho Chi Min.
@OlgaProGoingPlaces11 ай бұрын
Unfortunately I haven’t heard anything about it in Da Nang
@daphuc5028 ай бұрын
Cu chi tunnels were an underground secret base lol , last leg of the HCM trails strategically very closed to saigon or HCMC . since it is a secret base right next to extreme American military concentrations and constant American operations , sometimes right underneath American camps , Vietnamese dont put them anywhere else but Cu Chi , because other places can have basecamps under covered of the thick jungles mountains, there is no reasons to dig bases ....

Getting robbed on the first day must have been so disheartening, but your resilience is impressive! After all the challenges, what was the most memorable part of your year in Vietnam?
