Ok, so I have a suggestion. I think you're losing a lot of battles, or at least getting worse outcomes, on maneuvering mistakes. You correctly identified that you don't want to be in front of the regent flagship, and underneath(or above if you're not cheesing the warp core) is the place to be. But at 2:08, 2:50, and 3:25 you turned away presumably to bring your aft weapons to bear, but each time it opened up the gap between the ships and gave them an opportunity to turn and face you, each time doing lots of damage. 3rd time you were saved by taking out their warp core just before they opened up. It would be better to just stay in the blind spot and wait for front weapons to reload. The damage trade of hitting them with your aft weapons(often on a less damaged shield face since they're turning as well) vs them getting to unload with their frontal weapons is not in your favor. Scimitar could have won with virtually no hull damage. At 2:50 with careful control of speed you could have stayed in that blind spot and whittled away at them and there's not much they could do.

Reason why the Regent's ship couldn't cloak was not because of it's size, but because that universe didn't have cloaking technology. See DS9 Episode "The Emperor's New Cloak"

But here's the Plot of "The Emperor's New Cloak" The Mirror Universe counterpart of Ezri Dax shows up at Quark's quarters on Deep Space Nine with a message: Zek went to the Mirror Universe in search of business opportunities and was kidnapped by the Alliance, who demand that Quark exchange a cloaking device-a device that can render a starship invisible-for Zek's freedom. Quark and Rom steal a cloaking device from the Klingon General Martok's ship, which they hide by cloaking the device. They get the device to Ezri, and are forced to transport to the Mirror Universe with her when Martok discovers the theft. Please hand in your Trekkie card at reception.

I would absolutely love to see Romulans having a Scimitar-esque ship of some kind, too. Like maybe take one of the D'deridex class warbirds and do what the Federation did quite successfully with the Lakota: retrofit the hell out of it. Can you imagine a Warbird that has two dozen plasma torpedo bays ? Slamming that into the Regent's face is gonna do something for sure and I would not try to start a ramming contest against that one either.

I think the reason why the Regent Flagship didn't have a cloaking device is because cloaking technology just simply didn't exist in the Mirror Universe. It wasn't until after the Regent sent spies to the Prime Universe is when he found out about cloaking technology, and thus sent someone to capture Qurak's mother as a way to influence him and his brother Nog to steal a Klingon cloaking device and transport it and themselves to the Mirror Universe. With all this said, great epic battle.

Early prediction, I think a win both ways is possible. Scimitar should be able to use it's maneuverability and better firing arcs to win, but Klingon flagship is tough and kicks serious ass if it get's it's front weapons trained on you.

I like the Regency. It is a powerful ship but it is lacking 2 powerful ion or disruptor cannons on Its forward arsenal. In my opinion it has just slightly better weapons than a Super Neghvars but has much stronger shields and armor.

The part in Star Trek: Nemesis where Data mentions Shinzon's combat record in the Dominion War doesn't make sense as regards the Scimitar. That thing would've been analysed by so many sensor arrays that Starfleet, to say nothing of the Romulans and Klingons, would surely be aware of its existence. Also, he, like the Remans, was a slave, so any action during the War would've been under close Romulan supervision - the Scimitar must've come after. Shinzon himself said they built the ship in secrecy, amassed an army and pulled off a coup.

In the end the enemy pulled a Badger with it's cloaking device and was finished off, lol So it's a good thing the Klingon ship couldn't cloak seeing how bad luck seems to follow badger whenever he uses cloakable ships, lol.

This was a fun one to watch. I agree with these results and the winner is the Regent's flagship. I agree that there are blind spots on the Regent's ship. Also the reason why the Defiant kicked its ass is because Sisko took the helm and made sure to survive the rest of the battle. I agree that Regent Worf wasn't a good combat officer and not honorable like Prime Worf. One thing that annoyed me with the DS9 Mirror Universe episodes was continuity. In the first cross over episode we never saw the Klingon and Cardassian ships decloaking. However in the second one when Smiley brought our Sisko over to get his help they decloaked in front of their ship. Then in the third one the Alliance didn't have cloaking tech at all. So yeah....continuity is annoying.

Sisko is the deciding factor in a lot of battles! The best tactician in Starfleet History? Oooooh, I didn't realise the cloaking continuity's. I'm currently re-watching through DS9 at the moment, so will watch out for it! 🖖

Cloaking errors have been acknowledged by Star Treks production teams more than once and that was one of them. Another one was the 22nd century Romulans having cloaking tech in Enterprise but they never show a cloaking Romulan again in the series.

I mean the Scimitar has a much higher DPS though doesn't it because it basically just doesn't stop shooting as with the Regents it's got a good forward firing array and I'm assuming it's got good amount of armour or at least I would assume not sure about in universe one on one but in the game I guess it comes down to the human player and how tough the AI is Very good match up though definitely interesting to watch

To be fair and make it a really fair fight if the computer does not target sub systems then I would t5hink you should not either. I think it will make way more accurate battles so you can really see what ship is stronger vs seeing if you can beat the computer with it's known limitations.

Why am I not surprised that the Simitar is so powerful, there aren't many ships that can resist it. You can literaly remain cloaked for as long as you want. When it comes down to it, the simitar is a supership! Too bad your battle was against a computer instead of a real player!

Ordinarly I would, but sadly there have been issues with it's stability. I have attempted on a number of occasions to get it working, but sadly it crashes. No fault of the mod at all, it's a limitation of Bridge Commanders Game Engine.

There are some utterly brutal rookie manoeuvring mistakes, you're consistently placing yourself in the cone of primary forward weapons and in other videos you are constantly failing to protect your weakening shields, spend some time learning how to pilot properly and you will improve significantly

3:40 both the regent and Star Trek Bridge Commander had a warp core breach! 6:10 CORRECTION: the regent cannot cloak when Retro Badger is in command. This was instituted when a KDF study ranked Retro Badger messing about with the cloaking device as the #2 cause of dishonorable deaths, behind eating expired gagh. 🪱 🤢
