If you put the plastic piece on the base first under it there are some clips you can pull together to release it I threw away this monitor a few years ago because I thought it was broken! Glad I found it in my closet

I was given this monitor for home office setup, hence did not choose and first time for me on a non HP monitor. This gets the job done, speakers are not to be used and laptop ones are far better. Display is crisp and good

Go to 9:40 in the video. Watch for a couple of minutes and there, it talks about how to get to the settings and adjust the volume.

Hi, I found a ViewSonic VX2250WM LED LCD Monitor and wanted to ask you a question: does your monitor display the volume and definitions when not getting a computer signal? I didn’t test mine yet(waiting on the VGA adapter)..but it powers up and stays on the amber light like your model.. Thank you. Great vid btw:)
