I play Warzone at 1080p 280hz and i’m moving to 1440p 165hz as the quality on 1080p is just hard to pinpoint enemies at range. Yes i will be sacrificing FPS for quality, but i think 1440p is the sweet spot for Warzone as i’m not a competitive player anyway.

@@irun2sanaxox Honestly it depends on your playstyle. If you are a rusher/pusher kind of player then yes 280hz 1080p with more FPS is better as you will have a competitive advantage. But otherwise..a casual player like me who wants enough FPS and nice graphics and visuals, i'd say 1440p 165hz is a definite sweet spot for warzone for most systems to date. As of now if you can afford it, go for the 1440p 240hz monitor with a good enough PC to push atleast 150 FPS and you should enjoy the game much more than 270hz 1080p. ;)

I recently bought a 165 hz 1440p monitor after using a 240hz 1080p monitor and I must say I am much more satisfied with the 165hz monitor. Yeah I lose frame rate but I like the better picture quality I don't need high frame rate I'm not a professional gamer lol

@@jackx5750 It actually does just depends on if you want to hard commit to competitive FPS or a more enjoyable overall experience. IMO 1440p is overrated for gaming in that it doesn't look that much better than a 24/25in 1080p and it isn't that hard to drive either but it's a much nicer viewing experience. If you want a 240hz I'd go for it

VA has a lot of ghosting issues but I want to check it out in the near future.

@@BTaesthetics Definitely depends on the panel. VA seems to be used at both the top and the bottom end of pricing. VA can technically achieve a faster response time than IPS and acts as a middle ground between the color accuracy of an IPS and the speed of a TN, but again, a lot of manufacturers are also using VA as it's cheaper.

what are you looking for in a monitor. alienware 2520 if you can find it is a great monitor if you strictly play fps. That would be my #1 pick for price to performance at the moment followed by both the viewsonic monitors. hope this helps

Hey, great video as always! A quick note. A monitor doesn't use a DCI-P3 (or any color space) inherently. It's just able to cover more of different color spaces. You are still looking at a SRGB color space most of the time. There can be modes on a monitor that are calibrated for certain color spaces that you could be editing in, but I've never seen that on a mainstream monitor. Saying it uses a DCI-P3 color space doesn't actually mean anything. I also wish it listed the full specs on the website. 1.07B colors suggests that it's a 10bit panel, but it could be using 8bit+frc to achieve that. And they never say how much of the DCI-P3 color space it can actually display.

i have a acer KG271-P overclockable to 165hz and its just superb! i really recommend getting it instead of any other refresh rate since its probably the best refresh rate for most standard gaming pc's nowadays. Edit : also this monitor is extremely cheap around 150-200$ and its 0-1ms response time and really good coloring.

I’d go for the HP Omen over this. Same panel, and the RGB light that shines onto your desk is really awesome. It gives you shadow free light for reading, writing, or to see your keyboard if you don’t have any backlighting, or no backlit keycaps. The only things I think you don’t get are the silly headphone holder (if you have dual or triple monitors it’s useless) and you drop on USB on the back. I think it’s worth the trade off
