I watched you last tortilla video over and over and over and I didn’t give up. I’m 35 years old and wanted to impress my family with tortillas. I tried a total of 7 times and I finally got it right. I love my tortillas and so does my family. Thank you sisters for sharing these tips!

Have you created a cook book from your recipes yet? I just love watching your videos, but having the book would be great when I try to cook them myself. Even an ethnically Irish-American 55 year old guy loves your cooking lessons.

That would be great! I would probably buy it. I'm not much of a cookbook person but I'm trying to make one myself and their recipes are a lot like my partners family's food. I love going on this channel to find ways to incorporate more Mexican food in our life. He's Mexican American and my family has always had a huge Mexican influence in our cooking.

I've been thinking and hope she will consider publishing a cookbook. I hope she does because I'd have to have one and would be happy to help show support in that way. She's my favorite KZbin cook and I trust her cooking; I'd trust her cooking with my life 😂

Agreed! A lot of the other recipes for a full on dish, are not on the website or pinterest from Stephanie and Cloud, I love watching the videos and then need a written one to make it. If I'm not making my own recipe, I love following the author's word for word. It's simply faster to read than skip around in a video.

Me again! South Georgia boy! I don’t think I have ever had a freshly made tortilla! I bet those are awesome! My sis in law is from New Mexico. She makes a triangle shaped bread that puffs up when you fry it and gets hollow. She makes these when she makes her awesome fréjoles. I like to break open the bread and stuff it with the beans! Yum! She calls the name of the bread but I can’t remember! I love her cooking though! Keep it up! I love watching your channel!

This is the bomb recipe. I made them last night for my green chili. My husband commented it reminded him of all his childhood trips to Rocky Point. I loved it so much I made 28 today to have in the fridge for myself, my husband and my 14 yo and 12 yo sons. I took a photo for you but don’t see where you can upload it. I used my 00 non bleached, unbromated, non gmo flour and they are melt in your mouth amazing! Thank you. Been looking for a great recipe and this will forever be my go to!

First timer coming back to report my tortilla making adventure!! I've been following Steph's recipes some time now, and she always makes her recipes fun, easy and straight forward. I was pretty nervous that they were going to come out thick, tough and like a "map" 🤣 When I rolled the dough balls mine were not as smooth in appearance, they kind of had lines/folds and I didn't get any bubbles 🙁 But for being my first time, I think they came out great! I was able to fold and crumple them without any cracks or tears 🥳 Curious to know how to organize or lay out the rolled tortillas before they go on the comal? I stacked them up with wax paper in between. Cannot wait until I am able to make tortillas with confidence!! 🤠 This recipe is LEGIT and she was right about the ego boost 😎🤣
@kita97279 ай бұрын
Hi Amy! I just cook mine as I go. Roll one out and put it straight on the comal. After it's cooked, put it between the two layers of a small towel.

Your video is awesome and the recipe is spot on to what I remember my grandmother and mom using. I will soon try your skillful method … AND my plan is to recreate a special desert recipe my grandmother made with sweetened refried beans (sugar and cinnamon added) into flour hand made tortillas, then deep fried after being shaped into an empanada semicircle. Incredibly delicious. Thank you again for your well performed video.
