It's highly reminds "Sober" clip by Nanowar of Steel. Also animated, seachart style, skeleton captain, eye-patched duck, skull island, Seven Seas reference, and even blast in final... Oh, i see... "Sober" definetely is a parody to Alestorm! (eye-patched duck present in other Alestorm clips as well - Shit Boat for example).

Sober is absolutely a parody of Alestorm (I recognized it as such pretty much immediately when the video first droped), and the video definitely references this one, particularly with the map stuff. If you dig into the comments for the Sober video, you'll see me asking the animator if the pirates in it were a reference to Alestorm, to which he responded "maaaybeeee".

9:52 IIRC, the captions for Alestorm songs are written by Christopher Bowes, the lead singer, and there's usually at least a few jokes and references slipped in here and there.

Yeah, Alestorm are so much fun 😀 Enjoyed your reaction 👍 I can give you a few metal suggestions, Feuerschwanz with Berzerkermode or Bastard von Asgard. One of my favorite bands lately, amazing band and fun videos. Another are norwegian Skar productions with a metal cover of Wardruna’s Helvegen. Your wife might like this one 😉. And for your happiness for great guitarsolos, Dynazty with The white. Power metal with dueling guitarsolo and acoustic guitarsolo in this one. Its Nils Molins (from Amaranthe) own band. So i hope you will have fun with these 😉👍
