That was such a fun season! That team deserved a Super Bowl. 98 Falcons game was hard to take because we were the team to beat, but the Falcons outplayed us. We dominated the Saints. 7 turnovers, some horrible coaching decisions, some very very questionable calls by the officials and the bounty on Favre, cheap shots all day long. And still we were in position to win. That one still hurts

I was at this game, the one and only time I got to see Brett Favre in person. It was at least 50% Minnesota fans in there and by the 4th qtr we had taken over the place. There was a Rams exec guy at the door who said "I'm seeing way too much purple here" as we were entering Edward Jones Dome. We went to 5-0 and what a fun ride 2009 was, too bad for the shitty ending. Skol!

God we were so good. Brett Favre, Percy Harvin, Sydney Rice, Kevin Williams, AP, Jared Allen. Hard to get much better than that. And our offensive line was actually good with Sullivan, Loadholt, Hutchinson, and McKinnie. I was just a kid so this was my first Vikings team. Still remember watching that NFC Championship and practically myself to sleep that night. SKOL brother!

Sidney Rice was the #1 receiver for the Vikings this year, and it’s it’s the only year he caught more than 50 passes or gained more than 750 yards. If the Vikings had had JJ, Adam Thielen, or Stefan Diggs that year, they would have been unstoppable, and it’s a credit to Favre that he was able to carry the Vikings as far as they went with that dumpster fire of a WR room.

38-10 looks like a blow out (and it was) BUT boy did the Rams shoot themselves in the foot every time they got in the RED ZONE. Take away our defensive TD and take away their 3 turnovers inside our 10 yard line and this could have easily been a 31-31 going into over time type of game.

I actually think this was the best team we've had since I've been a fan. ( Since 87 ) I give them the nod over that 98 team because they had much better defense. Although he was no Moss, they had their deep threat as well in Sidney Rice. Then Adrian Peterson is better than Robert Smith. + I'd take Bret Farve over Cunningham.

Well, nfc is a 2 team race also seattle and atl are mirages against phi and no which will cancel them out seattle will play the rams wboever wins will lose to saints eagles will cancel out minnesotta then u get no phi pick no and new england witb the global agenda over the steelers although a steelers saints sb would be cool brees will still get a 2nd ring then retire thats the storyline this year im also suspicious of bills coach not tanking for better success and having atleast a 2 year run playing with house money making it easy for chargers to get ready for a thanksgiving game on a short week
