(1 hour south from San Francisco) that got caught on fire with 1/2 the house chard to oblivion was sold for $2.5million. Isnt that crazy or what. The lot square footage where the house was standing is about 4000 square feet. City of Fremont, Ca. is 1/2 an hour to Silicon Valley San Jose, CA.

Thank You for this tour, Danilo!!! This place is a magical, sacred space! I really enjoyed the telling of the history and the wonderful aesthetic of it all. There seems to be something of an Asian influence to the garden and landscape. I love that blend of Italian and Asian sensibility. Remember the Umbrian property that had a "Roman Soul" with a Japanese touch to it. That also was appealing to me!! Anyway, you did yourself proud! This is really enjoyable and so well done! What an amazing place. I love that nature is also brought into the house and it would be a beautiful place to live. There are so many interesting features and the staircases are really sweet. The tower is amazing too and I also loved the olive jars and trees. The brick archways were beautiful and also the corridor inside them! Once again a stunning video and so beautiful and relaxing to watch. Pietro Porcinai was a very talented man and has a left an incredible legacy. Whoever, buys this property is very lucky indeed.

This was just fascinating, Danilo, and thank you for taking time to explain so much about the garden's designer, for those of us who aren't Italian. Having come from a background in English and French gardening, I was just in awe of this. You used the word ""seamless"" and it was - compared to French gardens in which all is carefully delineated, the constant flow here from plant to plant was wonderful - it makes it feel very old and established. Also, the underground room with ivy on the ceiling was amazing. I usually look at the old architecture and hardly pay any attention to the garden, but this time, I was mesmerized.
