I don't know how Amy Grant lives with herself knowing she's a home wrecker
@veeherreraJanecka8 жыл бұрын
+jessicaelmaleh King David in the Bible committed adultery and later he repented, but God still blessed his son, solomon and their union. He paid for it bitterly and so did Amy. She wrote a a whole album on her shame and repentence and how God forgave her and healed her. We all have sinned! maybe not that sin, but we have done equal sins. ALL have come short of the glory of God. She has written some healing and beautiful music. I cannot hold this against her. I dont know her heart or her relationship with God. Blessings, Vee, Colorado

she doesn't have to justify herself to anyone. we will all be judged in our own time. it is up to us to live and let live and it is god's job to judge. it's better if we mind our own business.

Unless you were living in the Gill and Chapman households during the time of the first marriages, you have no right to judge ("Judge not, lest ye be judged"= unless you want your dirty laundry aired for all to see, stop making assumptions and pointing holier than thou fingers; basically, don't be a hypocrite). However, considering Vince's first wife was a die-hard Jehovah's Witness, and Amy's first husband couldn't bear to utter her name---much less allow it to be said---on his now defunct TV show (Janice and Gary were B rate stars who never could quite reach that brass ring called "stardom", but they played up that their spouses were the second bananas and didn't mind riding their coat tails of success). I would say that ego, jealousy, and religious zealotry had a bigger part to play in the divorces than any assumed adultery. Speaking of assumed, considering Vince filed for divorce 1 1/2 years BEFORE Amy did, who are you to assume the woman is a home-wrecker? Are you really that hatefully prejudice and sexist? And it is a known fact that marriages based on affairs tend to crash and burn out faster than any other relationships. The fact that Vince and Amy have lasted longer together than their first marriages did, says a lot.

And for the record, considering Amy landed and married one of the most talented and successful country music artists of modern country music (Vince has been asked to fill in for the late great Glenn Fry on the recent "Eagles" tour), who loves and adores her in a way every woman should be, and her family and career are running like a well oiled machine.... well, I would venture to say that Amy is living her life very happily. Jealous?
