Watching you and big show try to get in the back of a turtle shell 4 door was definitely hilarious. It was an honor to meet you. You fought hydenright and he actually kneed me in the face while trying to go over the barricade and Lilian Garcia kissed me on national TV. Thanks Mark for supporting us guys in the big sand box. I'll never forget how actually big your Sarah tattoo was cause on TV you don't realize how freaking thick your neck was till I saw it in person and it was actually a big tattoo. Doubt you will see this Taker but if you do thanks for all my childhood memories come true that week in Tikrit, Iraq

Wrestling during the attitude and ruthless aggression era was really something else. A traveling circus would be an understatement. The worlds largest and most decadent fraternity would be an understatement. These guys were the personification of s3x, drugs, and rock and roll. Sadly many of them didn’t make it to takers spot. By their late 50s very few are still rich, still married, still famous, and able to walk. Some of these guys are working local flea markets selling autographs for $20 based on a tag team run they had 30 years ago. But even the ones who died young or had a tragic downfall in middle age, at least they can say they lived in their 20s and 30s!

I was also in Tikrit when they came over in 2004. I was at FOB Danger but was sent to Speicher to also escort and assist them while they were there. I can't even begin to express how much they were appreciated by all of us. I got to interview most of them on camera for Public Affairs, shot hoops in the gym with Taker and couple others while waiting for an autograph signing to start, got to help put the ring together. Got to screw around in the ring and shown how to fall properly and run the ropes. I busted my a$$ attempting that; embarrassing but so worth it! For me personally, it was the coolest thing getting to see behind the scenes and get to know those folks, a little, out of character. Most of them were hilarious and just genuinely good people and ALL of them were incredibly respectful and went out of their way to make sure everyone they met would have a lasting memory. One of the best experiences I've ever had. I had always enjoyed pro wrestling but what they did and how they treated us made me a fan for life!
