I recently saw a Vincent Rapide in France (1st May '23) in France. It was clearly a "Daily used motorcycle" but in still stunning condition! A real joy to see.

I can't imagine owing one of these and not riding it, how could you do that? I think these were the most beautiful motorcycles ever made.

Probably one of the most iconic bikes. A thing of beauty. All motor vehicles should be driven. They were designed to move and should be seen driving showing the life within, not as a dead static display. 👍😎

2:37 Vincent did not pursue the Lawnmower or make such a machine. The Barber Museum has what is known as The Rapier a lawnmower made by Farmfitters of Gerrards Cross. Vincent only supplied the 2 stroke industrial 50cc engine which was something anyone could buy for Paint shops, compressors tilling machines. The chronology described here is all wrong as Vincent went from one project to another in a contiguous manner just to make ends meet.
