I had never seen English lyrics until now and i was quite surprised especially about the parts mentioning the galous and sitting under a hanged man i see everything. During the viking age there was a common divination practice for men or women to lay or sit under a hanged person to gain insight into the future.

@@Indo-European-lad exactly ! Unfortunatelly the translation we find online are not really good and don't honor well the truly deep meaning of the text. That's why I made my own. I'm happy if it make sense. 😊 Einar Selvik work is truly impressive. Necromancy is a Fjölkynngi Óðinn often use in the sources. Also "Utiseta" is about meditate on a gallow to seek knowledge from the dead. Fascinating

What is this instrument? It looks a bit like a Jouhikko.

@@eduardskandi8144 it is. It's just a bit bigger and designed by myself. The base inspiration of the shape of the soundboard is inspired from a tagelharpa/jouhikko called sothharpa as far as I know. If I can help 🙂 I called mine Hestr-harpa :)

@@JarlTryggve no i'm not luthier. This tagelharpa is a unique model made on my design by my Ukrainian friend from @lyreofthecrossroads workshop. You can find him on etsy. He's very professional and the instrument he creates are just fantastic.

@@FonRize Sure =) Depends on the tune but I play mostly on the 1st and second string. Most of the time it's usually on the first. With sometime a note or two on the 2d. In fact you can up un down the scales on the three strings
