Con Con i don't know if this helps or not, but the dysphoria you face daily, should 100% validate you. Whether you feel like your physical features e.g. Your voice and typical feminine parts don't match how you'd like to be presented or you have an empty feeling knowing that nobody sees you how you see yourself. That's validation. Being trans is not being born in the wrong body, it's being born in the wrong mind. I do not mean that meanly, simply that the dysphoria you face is what causes you to be trans. As you can't match your brain to your body, you strive to make your body match your brain. Please understand that the fact that you're concerned that it may be for attention, means it is not for attention. I struggle with the same thoughts in regards to an aspect of my life. Just ask yourself this, if you could wake up with features of your desired sex and without the features of your born sex tomorrow, would you? That means it's not for attention, if you want things to be solved, then you don't want the attention from the problem. Have a lovely day

So many people are mistaking gender expression with gender identity. Expression really is a spectrum and how you want to present yourself to the outside world can really change depending on your mood/day/etc. Sometimes you wear a skirt, other times a flannel shirt. It won't make you suddenly change genders. It just changed how you combine masculine and feminine traits. I just hope that actual trans people will not be harassed/treated badly/hurt or not accepted because of this shit that goes down.

Can’t agree more. I can’t live my life as a dysphoric trans guys without the people around me comparing me to these people. Even had my boyfriend’s mother compared me to a relative they have who says they are a transgender man but still wears makeup, dresses , says they aren’t dysphoric, doesn’t bind and still wants to be called she/her/hers. It is ridiculous.
