How would you rate the service of Panasonic can you please let me know, I have purchased the Panasonic AC from Croma they didn't setup the service and just marked it off as done and the AC is still in it's packaging since 3 days and it is quite hot in here and Croma customer support is dead since 3 days whenever I call them no reply the phone doesn't even connect and Panasonic guy for now I have called around 4 to 5 times messages and everything they say 24 hrs., I even called the service center guy that guy literally disconnects the call and the customer support is quite lazy they are taking too much time and tells us wait for 24 hrs and if you still don't get it call us again, I mean wth, have been waiting since 3 days and that is the reply I get from them, hope anyone can let me know what can I do on this.

One very important factor to note in the installation of any AC is to ensure the correct process. The technicians sent by retail shops are local amateurs who give a damn to the quality of install. I am running on my second set of AC across my rooms now. The first set which were Lloyd, Samsung and Toshiba all got spoilt due to heat exchanger corrosion in less than 4 years. This was because the locals who installed these units did not care to pull a proper vacuum before releasing the charge into the system. They just took the shortcut of flushing the circuit with the precharged gas, thus wasting the gas and also not effectively removing air from the system. This caused lower performance and of course long term failure. There are many videos on youtube that recommend this incorrect method of installation. Now I have replaced them all these failed ACs with Panasonic XU series with nanoe-G. This time I reached out to the brand service center to do the installation and I made sure they brought along a vacuum pump and pulled a vacuum in the refrigerant circuit correctly before releasing the gas charge. Now this is what I call a flawless install. They were very cooperative with my request and also agreed that this is the correct procedure to install any AC. Needless to say the Panasonics chill in an instant once switched on. My sincere advice to all owners is to absolutely ensure that the correct procedure is followed while installing any brand AC, after all it is your hard earned money and you deserve to get it's full worth.

I need 2 of them - 1.5 ton for 155 sft and 2 ton for 260 sft. My usage is less - say 6 hrs/ day for 3 months, hence I would like to go in for a 3 star. Please let me know whether 3 star has all the same features as that of a 5 star (except for energy consumption, which is different) Would appreciate if you confirm whether the brand, star and tonnage selected is correct. Hello Sir, One thing which no reviewer discusses or points out is the quality of the AC, I recently purchased Voltas window 1.5-ton ac, and noticed that the plastic quality is very inferior as compared to other ACs. I did notice that after the installation. The fins create extra noise in swing mode, I thought this is a defective piece so the vendor sent me a new piece which again gives that extra noise in swing mode. I have compared the plastic quality with other brands but Voltas is very inferior. And now I feel very disappointed with my purchase. I do not know how much relevant this point is to others but for me quality also matters along with other features. I hope you will also consider the quality of the material used in upcoming videos.

I have a question for you - My flat is on the top floor of an apartment and the room's balcony opens in the west direction/side and there is no building or any house to block the direct sun rays hence the room gets direct sun entire afternoon till the sunset hence the AC's outdoor unit will be exposed to heavy sun heat directly and my room size is approx 120 to 130 sq ft so which AC should I opt for given the above conditions since the cooling has to be strong as the heat is coming from the direct sunlight on terrace which is above and from the windows and balcony making my room feel like a heat box. Thanks much for another great informative video. I have a question for you: Why almost 99% of the ac installers across all brands never use core drill bits ? They always use a long bit, drills 4/5 holes then use hammer chisel to make the hole bigger to let the indoor unit pipes go through. But in this process the wall, specially on the outer side gets damaged and most of the time needs repair. I fail to understand this clumsy process while if all installers use core drill bits for this job, the work would have been way cleaner with absolutely no damage to the wall.
